OK, I don't get much time on here so when I do, its irritating that I don't know where to click in a hurry to get to where I want to be (if that makes sense)

I have outstanding invites to join groups - I can't find where to click to accept it

If I want to view any messages or accept friendships I have to click on CP and go through different things to get to it

** EDIT ** Just tried that - I was wrong. I have to click my name if it's visible from the front page (see below)

Go to the UCP (http://www.isketchforum.net/usercp.php).

On the left, there is a list of different sections, one is "Social Groups". If you have an invitation to a group, click on that option, then it will take you to the list of groups. When you click on the group name you're invited to, you'll see messages etc and right at the bottom of the page there's a small bit that says "join group".

You can also accept friendships from the main page. The outstanding friend requests will be at the top, with a "Manage your Friend Requests" link to the right of them.

New messages will also show up on this page but to view them all click "Your Profile", which is the top of the list of links on the right hand side of the page.

(edit: you could add the pages to your bookmarks/favourites to speed things up)

Unfortunately I have no useful information to add here except, maybe a suggestion to Peter, if possible...

We get emails and pop ups for private messages, which is good for when you don't visit the forum often and so on. We currently get emails for friend requests, which is good cos you can accept a friend straight away without letting them feel lonely or whatever.
But when someone writes on your profile there are no notifications for that which is a teensy bit annoying cos if you're not aware someone's written a message to you, you seem a bit rude for not replying. But that's just my opinion. I personally like replying to people straight away so I don't seem rude.

So yeah, it is possible to have notifications when someone writes you a message? Cos I've not found an option in the CP, although that could just be me. It makes it so facebookyfied, doesn't it? The only way of currently seeing new messages it to keep checking your CP or clicking your profile which makes you look a bit too into yourself :twisted:

Aww. Guess I never had any friends before now :P

Personally I find the + sign annoying :P I know who my friends are, it doesn't need to mark them down like a sniper target xD

lol, im a bit hyper, sorryyyyyy, see, i dont have deadlocks problem, there are no groups im allowed in and im pretty fast at hopping around pages to respond to messages ;) XD

shows just how crazy i can get.. and i think some guys would NOT like the hearts...
