Reinstall Shockwave. That will remove your profile information, so you would no longer have a picture up and im guessing no error message?

Before you do that, try going to iSketch using another browser e.g. Firefox and when you get to the main menu page, type "/icon" (without the " " ) - that might fix it.
Uninstalling/Reinstalling Shockwave in Vista is no different to any other operating system but imho it should always be the last resort, not the first one.
And don't post the same message in two different threads, you'll get modded.

They said as they log on it says error, so i guessed they couldnt change their options on isketch as they didn't have a chance to log on before the error came up. So i think the reinstalling was necessary, as it didnt require logging on isketch to clear their profile. I don't think "/icon "would have worked in this case.

It's a problem you get in Internet Explorer which happens in XP as well as Vista, and what happens is an error message followed by the browser closing down. If, and of course it's not certain, the problem is caused by the image used for an avatar, then trying to fix it with another browser is the easiest option to try first as ininstalling/reinstalling Shockwave isn't always a smooth process.
If trying another browser doesn't work, I'd suggest the next thing would be to write to Feedback with details of username/IP address because it's possible the IP address might be blocked ... and only after that would I uninstall Shockwave. Actually I'd test my Shockwave first because if works properly there's no need to uninstall it at all.

Also, make sure you keep your profile picture within the iSketch size limits from now on.

Yeah, re-installing Shockwave does the trick.
But, like on most forums, I see this thread all the time.
"Help, Vista Errors"
It reminds me of the new Mac Commericial. :P
