Okay, my hands were itching badly because there isn't a House thread! How? House is one of the best programs on TV. Yes, yes it is. :P

Gotta love Hugh Laurie with his brilliant acting. I love the sarcasm and witty comments. I do love how he can pull off an American accent, but I think him having a British accent might have worked better. Personal biased opinion there, heh.

So, we're on the third season here in the UK. And there is one storyline that seems to be the centre of most of it, it seems.

That cop is starting to bug me lol. I can't remember the actor's name, but I've seen him in plenty of things and love the guy. But this storyline is draggin a bit. Though it is nice seeing House face his addiction! I wonder what will happen to him? Jail?

/me nudges all the House fans..

I quite enjoy House, but I have this problem.

I keep expecting him to lapse into his character Prince George from Blackadder III and say something like "But he's and absolute arsehead!"

I always remember Hugh Laurie in Blackadder saying 'Well bake me in the oven for 40 minutes and call me Beef Wellington!' hehe

Wow, you guys are o.. lalalaa  . I never watched things like that, but my parents and older sisters did. They loved his work. :) And now.. I'm the House addict and my parents don't like it. Mostly for the icky medical bits, heh.

i've only seen it a couple times, but i do really like it. hey, wasn't something going to happen between Cameron and House? or was that a really old re-run?

i do really like the actor who plays House, he's very good at his role.

erm, i don't know what else to say. xD

I think that's the re-runs. And season 2? Mind you, there's always been a little thing with them. I like the friendship thing that House and Cunny have going on. And his friendship with Wilson. Truth be told.. Cameron's character bugs me a little :P

Well.. well...well... here too Nerdy  Boy do I have a lot of plotting to do

I really enjoyed House the other night!

You are quite right though Nerdy.... the police officer is starting to bug me a little bit too and they seem to be dragging it out a bit much. OK.. I know it makes for a different perspective and his addiction does need to be sorted out - but this personal vendetta is going way beyond a joke now! It will definitely be interesting to see how it pans out and what the end results will be? Perhaps House ends up saving the policeman's life and all is forgiven?

I have almost finished watching Season One and will be starting on Season Two as soon as possible. I only really started watching House this Season and have to say that I am absolutely hooked on it now - far better than ER and that god awful Gray's Anatomy (said Gray's as I know a certain Wabbit and Babe love it )

/me smiles innocently.
They all know I'm innocent ;D

Just for you sweetheart...
I'd sleep with one eye open, if I were you..
lol, so where was I..

I like your thoughts on House saving the policeman's life. That would be good! I'd sit there and let out a little 'nerr nerr'. And what is it with him chewing gum all the time? Gaaaah. I actually thought that he might end up going to prison for a small amount of time. A month or something. But that would be boring because it's already dragged on enough. :/ I'm actually surprised to see how well Willson kept his cool after all the things the cop has done to him, to get him to talk. Harsh.

And I want Cunny to get pregnant!

Wow, you've only been watching it since this season? You'll love season 2 :D I'm a total House fan and addict. Watched it from the first epi.. :embarrassed: ER was good. I used to be a big fan of that too, but then it got boring after all the regulars left. It's still good, but I have a few hours I use per week on good quality TV. Hoooouse. There are just better programs than ER now. And Grey's is great, but I don't watch it on a regular basis. I did watch that double epi of the code black (um.. no idea what the epi was called. But if anyone else watched it, I'm sure you'll agree it was good quality TV!). Dang, that was good stuff!

Ahhh... I have some thoughts here Nerdy.....

About the policeman chewing gum.... maybe this could be an underlying cause of his demise? Differential Diagnosis Nerdy......!!! LMAO Perhaps the gum turns out to be a bad batch and really it has mercury in it, which causes his brain to swell (though House would be insistent that the Policeman's head was big due to his ego and nothing more ) House then has the dilemma as to whether to save his nemisis or to let him perish due to some other evidence found against him.... Pfft... who needs script writers when they have the Nerd and Clock to write their stuff for 'em

Ooo.. I am such a happy little ticker now that I have a new House Buddy!!!

MsNerdinator
28-05-2007, 06:27 PM
ROFL! That made me roar with laughter. Poor AJ (sorry for laughing out loud while you're working!). Seriously, that was absolutely hilarious. I'd love to see something like that happen, heh.
I'm sure there is a bigger story here though, or maybe I'm looking too much into it. But, it's just weird how he's even after House when he's off duty (as Cunny stated, too). Maybe something similar happened to the cop? Though I guess he's just doing his job (and some of it being part revenge too for how he treated him). I'm just really, really looking forward to how this turns out. And now I'd have to say it would be HILARIOUS if it involves the gum! ROFL! I like your thinking! XD

MsNerdinator
31-05-2007, 10:25 PM
Hmm.. not quite what I expected...
I was very disappointed to not see more of a storyline with the policeman. I had a feeling that he's being like this because someone once 'hurt' him. And I was soo shocked to see House apologise, heh. I just kinda wished that there was more to it, since it dragged on for how many episodes? :/ lol, and the hug that Cameron gave House was so corny, hehe.

There goes your gum theory.. lol. That would have been so awesome though..

TempusFugit
01-06-2007, 11:35 PM
Yes... have to agree with you there oh nerdy one

I was a little disappointed too... I know that the story line has been dragging on a little bit and it needed to be resolved soon... but I think the script writers could have done a better job with that one! It still leaves things pretty much in the air though. For one, he is still addicted to Vikaden.

The sub-plot regarding the fireman was also interesting - but forgettable... or is that just me :S

I also agree about the C.C.C. (Cheesy Cameron Cuddle)... I was quite expecting her to nuzzle into his goatie and whisper sweet-nothings into his ear (or is that just my fantasy )

Yes... the gum theory was a little far fetched... but I sincerely believe that that would have been a better alternate ending!

Roll on next episode

Epi 12; One Day, One Room:

Awww..
I liked that episode a lot :) It was nice seeing him relate to a patient in a different way. Even if he was a big ol' meanie at first. The connection between the victim of rape and House was a good one. I love that she trusted him and wanted to talk.

House is just awesome. You can never find an episode that isn't worth watching! I'm quite shocked that we're only on episode 12. I felt like I had watched 20 or something, and that it was ending soon. Heh.. we're only half way through! :D

TempusFugit

Only episode 12! We are just half way through the third season then - and so much has happened!

I am in two minds about this episode. Part of me enjoyed it as we learn a little about House's childhood and possibly why he is the person he is today... but on the other hand, considering the fast-paced episodes previously, I felt it was a little slow. Enjoyable all the same, but not with as much hit.

Edit: Hey umm Nerdy... do you think we are the only two followers of this show?

Excellent episode! I am so glad that it appears to have picked up again as I was a little disappointed with the last few episodes (specifically 'The Vendetta' which kind of went on a bit). Who would have guessed that a simple toothpick could cause so much damage! It was also interesting to understand why the Romany Gypsy's were so mistrusting of medical intervention and certainly gave me a few things to ponder.

I particularly liked the sub-plot about the parking space. It was great to see House back to his normal, satirical, sadistic self  It has to be one of my favourite episodes of the Season so far and I can't wait for the next one now

Oh, and I believe that the US intro music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU2awTrEdN0) is different to the UK version, which is the same as the deutsche version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=915dbxxXBDA&mode=related&search=) (I can't remember if we always had this version or if it was the same as the US one, in season 1)
And the Greece version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCEs4VVUehs&mode=related&search=) is similar.

Woah, and someone made their own intro version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ns_zjWi0rKg)..

Um yeah.. I'm not bored or anything. :embarrassed:

I thought that was a great episode. Very funny, indeed :D
The parking space drama was funny. I love that doctor in the wheelchair. It was great seeing her use her sarcasm back at him, heh. Giving him a run for his money. I think they should date, lol

The toothpick thing was freaky. And the surgery room scene kinda grossed me out when House joined in and started playing around with his insides like that. Eww. :S He was a smart kid, and it was interesting seeing him choose his family over a career in medicine. Kinda sad though, you could see how much he wanted it too. It must be a difficult decision, I sometimes wonder about that. I mean, my parents would never make me choose, or pressure me, but it does make me realise how tough other people have it. Yup, it's just a drama, but that certainly happens in real life too.

What a good epi :)

Do we still need spoiler tags? lol. We seem to be the only two in here. That's how cool we are :P

Oh, see I think I'd like Shark, but the problem is that it comes on straight after House, and it's not better than House so it puts me off watching it. Sad, but true. I did watch the first epi and liked it. I just wished it would be on a different day when there is nothing else good on. I don't sit in front of the TV for more than an hour most of the time (unless it's a movie) because my attetnion span isn't too good. I get bored. XD

I do like James Woods. He's a good actor!
Hugh Laurie just rocks in comparison though, heh.

Err, sorry. I just came out of a room on iSketch.

TeeEef! That was an awesome episode!
Episode 14:
I loved the storyline of girl who can't feel pain (insensitive). I thought that was one of the most fascinating problems yet :)

And that bit when they were drilling into her head and she felt the pain and grinned? Whoa. That kinda freaked me out for a second. And then she ran off! Not sure why, but that really, really fascinated me. All in all, a very good episode in terms of medicine, one of the most interesting ones so far.

Why can't House and Cuddy just get together? lol..
And huh, Cameron saying "let's have sex". Eh? Cameron = Hussy. My maths skills are excellent, btw. When it's an easy equation.

Oh.. My... Word..!
Where do I start, TF?!
When they dropped on us that House has brain cancer.. I swear.. I was like.. well, words cannot describe it!

I knew there was something dodgy happening, but I just couldn't figure it out! >.< Though the scene where Chase hugged him? Not sure if it was meant to be sad, but it had me cracking up with laughter.

And then the end.. where we found out that he faked it to get his head sorted out :(.. I was in shock. A sense of disappointment, but you realise how desperate he was. It's kinda sad. That talk that Wilson had at the end with him was a good one, I think. Very few words, but powerful. Made House realise what he has to do. It was good seeing him join the rest at the very end.

That was such a shocking episode overall though!!

Oh, and!!
I loved the other storyline with the pianoist. It was great seeing House connect with him. :D And we got to see him play the piano. wheee XD
