You may also resize a picture or icon to avatar size or smaller by going into a photo hosting service like http://www.imageshack.us/ or http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/ or www.photobucket.com.

When you go to upload make sure you select resize image and on the pull down menu make sure you select 100x75 pixels or less, otherwise isketch might not support the size of the avatar.
