I've tried to connect to www.isketch.net (http://www.isketch.net) and www.isketch.net/isketch.shtml (http://www.isketch.net/isketch.shtml) several times over the last days and finally called my provider Telia today after rebooting, resetting, scanning, and updating pretty much everything I could think of. I got a lot of inspiration in here.
Apparently isketch is being affected by the issues between Telia and Cogent, Telia being my provider.. so no more isketch for me. Unless my provider's wrong. Link: http://gigaom.com/2008/03/14/the-telia-cogent-spat-could-ruin-web-for-many/
I assume it's illegal to use a proxy for the game as well as here? Which makes me wonder why this forum works, when the site doesn't? And no.. I'm not using a proxy.

Firstly this forum is not officially linked to isketch itself so I'm guessing it may not word in quite the same way. Secondly you problems sound like something that need to be dealt with by feedback where I'm sure Rob will be able to offer some advice. Good luck
The problem is between Telia (and it's associated companies) and Cogent - as you've read in the link.
Basically no internet traffic is going from Telia->Cogent, and there are a lot of hopping mad Swedes/Finns/Norwegians/Danes/Slovenes and anyone else whose ISP company is part of Telia.
It's very surprising that this hasn't been 'everywhere' front page news since friday. The internet...is not quite so interconnected...now.... so the future ramifications for how people use the web...
You can try eMailing Feedback... but your eMail won't get far, if you are using an email account, based in 'Telia' land. You'd have to use a web based account... and there's not much 'iSketch' could probably do for you anyway, sadly.
Until Cogent/Telia decide to sort it out, (and...hence sort out the potential good future of the internet....) there's not much you can do.
It's not just iSketch players that are effected...
Be thankful that your only trying to play a game... people are losing a lot of money, as they can't connect to their own Servers/eMail/websites/process orders etc!

I'm as surprised as you.. I haven't heard it mentioned at all till today. I'm fully aware of my problem being only minor copared to those people, who are affected financially by this catfight, but I still want to beat them. The internet isn't supposed to be controlled that easily!
I can actually connect to www.isketch.net/isketch.shtml using a proxy, so the current problem is to login, which seems impossible. Any chance that can be changed?

If it was changed it would be too easy for banned/blocked people to sneak in and we'd all be slaughtered in our sleep.

Well, make people login if they use a proxy and maybe let it take 24 hours to register a nick? It would make it a lot less interesting to abuse it, and right now people using Telia don't have another option.

It's no use putting your ideas across over on the forum ('cause no one here can make any changes to iSketch). Your best bet is to contact Rob and ask him about it :) info@isketch.net
Good luck! Hope you're able to get on. That kinda bites :/

There's no registrations for names just now anyway.
The other situation with proxies is that a player not banned could log on with the proxy under a different name and do whatever they want with no care for being banned/blocked as it wouldn't be a real ban/block for them.
iSketch hasn't made proxies unusable for no reason, so they're not likely to undo it.
Sorry.
