I too want to make an online game, it has nothing similar to iskech, but it's also a small fun game that people can play together, my question is, online games like isketch, do they have copyright protection? If so, how to apply for it, and what are protected? Does it cost money to apply?
Thanks!
That is something you need to ask to the isketch administration staff info@isketch.net
I do believe the name, typeface and several features of the game are copyrighted, but you'd be better off getting it straight from the horses mouth.

The board game of Pictionary is copyrighted and worldwide patented by Habros, however, there is not anything stopping you doing an online evrsion since Harbros has not put any objections on such online games, and since Adobe and Yahoo! has it own version, safe to say, you're free to do your own version.
Only thing which might be covered under law is the Intellectual Property such as user interface design, which must apply worldwide or it's useless.
