I just thought I'd post to keep this thread going and coming to a party theme and date (especially if you guys want it for this weekend, best to conclude everything in the next few days). Is it going to be for this weekend?

So far it looks like food is the most common theme, right?
I've liked all the ones that have been suggested so far, but food is on the top of my list. Not because it's on my mind right now or anything...

It depends on the date you've chosen. Spill it, sexeh lady :razz:. If it's on a Saturday, I probably won't be able to make it at the start (which is usually around 6.pm - from the previous parties). But if it's on Sunday, I should be able to make it on time.

I need to know from people out of BST who want to come as to time restraints. I don't want to book and find out that the time's not suitable for those abroad.

I usually don't show up unless I happen to be on at the right time (somewhere around the 4am mark) and accidentally get invited in. Besides, my times are so far off your times that it's almost impossible to plan for.

As usual, i got her because of something different.

Last time it was a looney tunes, and there was a long word her quote that I thought was her normal vocabulary, but apparently was something the cartoon character says. So I got her immediately that time, as a coincidence.

This time it was her name & quote.
I'd already asked pretty much everyone else if they were nerdy, then "gelato" signs in & gelato sounds like a very american word, like gelatin or something, i thought she were going with an american name to try & throw people off. Then i saw "my heart is in italy" in the quote & that sounded pretty Nerdy-ish what with all the pasta she eats (:P) and realised she couldnt be both italian & american, but that it was probably her anyway. and it was. :P

then i googled gelato, what d'you know, it's an italian ice cream

So. Yeah.

And yeah, the parties do usually go on 'til much later, but it could be 'cause most people are generally busier on Saturdays than Sundays. Or maybe that's just me? XD Just a guess though.

if someone hates Harry Potter, no one says they have to come. we've had other parties with themes that i haven't particularly liked, but whatever, i went to a lot of them anyways. i don't see any problem with having two parties - just make sure that the two are far enough apart. i've kind of drawn the conclusion that the more often the parties happen, the less people that go.
i'd like to have Harry Potter first, or at least around the 21st since the book and the movie are almost out. any other party.. can be planned by someone else, obviously.

I suggested that because it's a very specialist subject and there are a few who adore coming to the parties and it would stop them going. As I said, I'm not into excluding people. I aim to please everyone.

What I meant by 'small' was that it could be just for the people who wanted a HP party and then have the main party that everyone could attend.

On the other hand, like you've just said, anyone can plan a party so I don't have to take my time to plan it for everyone.
