EDIT: I have just double checked the forum rules, and I realise that nudity in art form is not allowed to be displayed anywhere but in the humour and debate forum. I apologise if anyone was offended by the paintings displayed. I have now given them links instead of showing them here, so they are removed from public display. Personally I think they are beautiful and should be seen by everyone, but rules is rules, and I can't break them :P This edit was done acting on my own judgement and not because anyone had complained, just to make that clear :)

Q9) What is the name of the world's tallest monolith?
Acceptable answers: Mount Augustus, Stone Mountain, Uluru (Ayers Rock), El Capitan, Pao de Acucar.
Q10) Where do Chinese gooseberries come from?
China, although largely cultivated in New Zealand.
The above answers are incorrect and not the ones which I sent to you ILM. Please see my PM to you.

Hi there :)
To be clear I just want to say Chinese gooseberries are originally from China. They arrived to New Zealand at the begining of the 20th century. About the tallest monolith, that is still on dispute by several ones so I understand different answers were accepted since the claim of being the tallest one is made by a few monoliths! I understand that last question is controversial, but there's no doubt about Chinese gooseberries...
Other than that, please play my quiz and have fun =)

Don't worry, Sunny1, I'm happy to stick with ILM's incorrect marking so as not to stuff things up any further.
My answers to the last two questions were as follows:
9. Uluru (or Ayers Rock) is recognised as being the world's tallest monolith. A monolith is defined as a large single upright block of stone. Mount Augustus is, as storm (the forum member) discovered, a monocline not a monolith. However, in view of the answers received, I can see how this could easily have been confused and am more than happy to accept both answers. The other names tossed in by ILM are irrelevant as no-one used any of them in their answers, despite the fact that Wikipedia states (without citations) that there are three other claims to the title. It wouldn't be the first time that Wikipedia was incorrect!
10. New Zealand. "Chinese gooseberries" were so named in New Zealand, therefore they are "from" New Zealand. It was intended to be a play on the words of the question. Yes, the origin of the species was China, however what we know today as 'Chinese gooseberries' were actually cultivated from a seed of the genus which was taken to New Zealand by the sister of a missionary who had been in China. They were so named because people thought they tasted like a gooseberry and the plant had its origins in China, although it proceeded to be changed in the cultivation process. The 'original' Chinese fruit does not look much like what you and I know as being a 'Chinese gooseberry' or 'Kiwifruit'. Once again, however, I am happy to accept both answers due to the possible confusion caused by my wording of the question.
To the best of my knowledge, only three lots of quiz answers were received. Given the above, all three are correct. I hope, for the sake of the continuation of the game, that storm and rockypg will graciously accept that ILM made a mistake in his scoring. I'm sorry, he should have discussed the matter with me first, however my attempts at PMs with ILM have not been met with appropriate responses. Perhaps storm and/or rockypg can be given preference if they (a) play, (b) are correct and (c) there is a tie in the next lot of scoring? Even if we disregarded the last two questions, there would still be a three-way tie, unfortunately.
My five questions were purely intended to 'lighten' the quiz with some easy answers as it was not being attempted by many, possibly due to the complexity and/or narrow scope of some of the previous questions. Alas my endeavours seem to have backfired; for that, I apologise to the quiz entrants.
In any event, good luck with your quiz, Sunny1, and good luck to the participants!

It's okay - I don't really want preferences.

I definitely learned new things - even with the controversial ones - so I'm not upset they were included.
