There was once a time when the rules on Isketch were too lax and you'd get all sorts of idiots drawing random rubbish on their rounds without end.

Nowadays is totally the opposite.

The Admins are morons, yeah I said it, I don't care cause I'm not coming back, had enough, just wanted to leave feedback somewhere.

I've been banned around 5 or 6 times now from one idiotic technical pitfall or another.

The most recent?

Banned for an hour for drawing the "S" on the front of supermans shirt for the words "Superhero movie".

Noone had even whistled me of the 7-8 people in the room.

It's a symbol, how am I expected to think of everything when it took me a minute just to realise the excuse the admin must've used?

Sick of being on edge when drawing something all the time, wondering if I'm forgetting one technicality or the other, read all the stupid rules ten times over.

I know it can't just be me that falls victim.

I once saw a guy get a temp ban (I think it's 24 hours when no time specified) for drawing a frog that according to the admin looked like a penis (It didn't look anything like one). Noone had whistled him.

At least I know what happens to all the sad little people in the world who get bullied at school, they become Isketch admins.

Truth is, no matter how good intentioned, if you make a set rules that are obscure enough that they are open to interpretation as they will be for a drawing game, you allow the inner jerks of certain people to have free roam to some level.

Not saying anything like.. mega. I don't know your situation. I don't know any of the situations but thought I'd put in a few points...

The frog dealies, well he could have made a rude drawing before and an admin had finally caught up with the player as admins are always very busy.

The S dealies is a little harsh but it can happen. Getting kicked is a bit harsh, but that must mean you've done stuff like this before I think? As it all builds up on the player.

I'm no admin though so I wouldn't know. -shrugs-

1. Dont write letters.
2. Dont draw dicks.
3. Dont cheat.
4. Dont swear profusely

Follow those four rules, and you shouldnt have any problems ever. Its quite simple actually.

I thought that the "admins" were actually moderators.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with the mods so far.

The times people have written letters, they have gotten points detracted the first time and banned the second (which is usually only a half hour ban). That system seems pretty fair, especially if iSketch is trying to attract members who are smarter than a brick.

But remember, they are only human. Sometimes you have to explain yourself to them and clear up misunderstandings. And sometimes you have to complain to the admins (who give mods jobs). I have no idea what their documentation is, so it might be better to have it on hand, but knowing names/what happened is the least you could do.

I've been playing for longer than most people on this forum (a year or two after the game was first created). After i stopped being a douche (early months), and started playing by the same standards Jmac posted earlier, i've not once had a runin with an admin.

And people don't get banned for letters. Perhaps kicked or kicked and blocked for a specific amount of time, but not banned. If someone says they've been banned over letters, chances are they were either blocked and they think they were banned, or they were actually banned but for something far more severe than just putting an S on superman's lycra tights

I've been a member for over five years now, and not a single kick. I like JMAC's rules... provided you have four fingers, you should be able to remember them =D

I have to be honest, i dont know where some of these admins come from or what the criteria of their character is, but i had one guy repeatedly cancel my turn when i was drawing when ever 1 or 2 ppl figured out what i was drawing. which stopped my turn and didnt give me my points that i wouldve gotten, he did this atleast twice before i got pissed and started flaming him.

My name is RAGEBOAT, and i RAGE, and i think i had a right to. he gave someone a hard time for writing a letter that didnt give away anything, it wasnt a letter in the word or anything amazing. so i was like HEY GUY CHILL OUT, and someone else was like YEA DOUCHE BAG GET A LIFE. So afterwards when its my turn to draw, me and him is about even, he had won the last game and was doing pretty good so far. Im drawing, iirc it was a torpedo, and he stops it and says im drawing a penis, dont break teh rules blah blah blah. im like WOW REALLY UR GONNA PULL THAT **** ON ME? i had about 7-8 ppl that figured out what i was drawing at this point as well. So now, all the points i wouldve got that wouldve pushed me to the top, i lost, when it was his turn, same deal he got about 7-8 guesses. so im like w/e ill catch up next time, so im doing good, then i start drawing again and i get about 7-8 guesses, and i have time to spare, there was nothing more i could do rather than give hints, so i drew lil stick ppl, one was indeed in the bent over position, the other was upright, but there was no penis involved or any other kinds of obscenities, i also follow it up with an arrow point to the bent over one and then i place the admins name on the other end of the arrow. BAM, ur turn has been stopped u get no points, so i RAGE, i was like YOUR JUST DOING THAT BECAUSE YOU KNOW IM GONNA CATCH UP, STOP HATIN SON.

I continue to RAGE, he then bans me, or kicks me, im not sure, i think its just a 30 min ban, but im not coming back until they find some more mature admins, that was just the most ridiculous game ive ever played here and had to put up with so much crap.

The admins name was ++++ btw, i swear i think he was 12 years old or something, everytime he did that he would lol after it. damn scrub.
