Well now summer is on its way any good tips for keeping cool?
/me sits in bath of ice
1- dress lightly
2- stay hydrated
3- avoid wines and hard liquor
4- eat copious amounts of frosty stuff
5- don't cuddle - it's icky when you're sweaty
6- adding drops of lime juice to water helps in absorption
7- DON'T cover your head. In winter you do to keep heat in, in summer you wanna keep it out.
Enjoy!

**Top Tip Alert**
Fill a hot water bottle with cold water and freeze  one huge big icecube without the melting mess. Wrap it in a towel, or something, to use. I find they last through the day/night.

Air Conditioner
/me splutters on her Chianti.
Avoid wines, are you insane?
I read an article today that said wool is one of the best things to wear in summer. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/6614719.stm
I find that if I keep the back of my neck cool (eg by rubbing in some cold water) that I don't too much.
EDIT: lol, maybe 2.0 has a point. See above for effects of said Chianti. ^^^^^I meant 'that I don't OVERHEAT too much.
Air Conditioner
For me, that equals a mild cold... Hate those things.
(And I'm supposed to fly to the US next year... Hours of recycled air!)
You can... err.. stay inactive in the shade, like me. Not a heat person. Or go swimming in the sea.

TempusFugit's "Top 5 Ways To Be Cool" Guide:
Colour coordination is essential... make sure you don't wear green or pink together - Prada's Summer Collection screams "Coooool baby..."

Actually, that's what I'm doing right now, and probably won't be doing that this summer. Anyways, I was just recently in the Carribean (spelling?) and one good way to stay cool is to go swimming every single day. If not, I suggest a cool shower before bed every night (it cools you down so it's not so hot to go to be, and you get all that sweat off for the day).

You should always cover your head in summer, it actually keeps your head cool, stops sun stroke and your head from burning.

How to be cool?
Hang out with BM - that's what most of the cool people do.
However, if you are silly enough to decide to go outdoors in summer time - here's some tips from the Australian Cancer Council
Seek shade
Wear protective clothing that covers the arms and legs as well as the body
Wear a hat that shades the face and neck
Wear wrap around sunglasses
Use SPF30+ broad spectrum, water resistant sunscreen which is reapplied every 2 hours.

Use SPF30+ broad spectrum, water resistant sunscreen which is reapplied every 2 hours.
Reading that, reminded me that 90% of people don't apply enough. You should be applying two shot glasses full every two hours. If everyone was using the right amount, then we wouldn't have bottles of the stuff that's three years old that we refuse to throw out because it's half full! That's another thing, always buy new sun cream every year because as each year goes on, the SPF halfs. So last year's 30 is now 15. Not a good thing!
Haven't used any for 2 or 3 years... We probably have a bottle around here somewhere. Must be SPF .25 by now then :D
