Beijing is over but the party has just begun in London (over on BBC1 & HD)
It's been an amazing 16 days with a brilliant 19 gold medals and 4th place for the aptly name 'Team GB'.

I put my full trust in Boris.
I for one dont! The guy is a joke, looks like everytime he just got up from bed and cant even make a decent speech without messing up. Hopefully he'll be gone by the 2012 Olympics as the LDN Mayoral Election is few months before the Olympics.
Moving back on to the main subject, here are some of the Stadia & Location pics;

Looks good....
I don't know much about economics but from what I've heard, the current budget won't quite be enough for all that to appear.

When London went to the IOC the Bid was £3 billion but now it has risen to £9 billion, London/UK as in general has most of the stadia's already built which is unlike Beijiing who had to start from scratch and in the process splashing out £23 billion.

It will go above budget, for number of reasons. Mainly because of poor budget projections and rising costs in fuel and steel.
The proposed move to rent out the stadium to Leyton Orient and descale the capacity of the Stadium is yet another blunder since West Ham, an established top flight Premier League team will be a better option as it will bring far, far more revenue to help pay off the costing of the Stadium.

Wraparound video screen proposed for London stadium. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2008/aug/23/olympics2012.olympics2008) I think this is a wonderful idea.
