I was totally shocked when I calculated the number of hours I spend on my pc a week.
I realise some of the time spent on the pc is saving me real life time, EG home shopping, internet banking, booking holidays etc.
How many hours a week to do spend on your pc ?
(include forums, game sites, msn shopping sites etc)
( exclude paid work )

I think really you ought to post your answer first :P
Will edit in a minute once I've calculated the huge number =]
Edit: Okay, actually it's an un-calculatable number.. but it's preeeeeeetty huge. Particularly now it's the summer holidays.
I wouldn't like to think about it

Cuh, you put a poll, I'm gonna have to add it up now! :P
Okay I'm gonna go with 31-40, although it's possibly more 25-35.
Nice thread =)

I reckon mine's about 28 on an average week. Depends how I am, sometimes I'll spend more time online and others hardly any. So yeah, on average, I think about 28-30 :embarrassed:
I'll admit to mine being well over 50 hours per week. I pretty much live at my desk and more often than not, I find myself having lunch here too.
In my defense, I study from home and it's pretty intense. I'm doing first year work as well as second year work at the same time.
I do both leisure and work along side each other.

Opps I have re-read my thread/posts, I didn't want anyone to feel embarrassed by the amount of time they spend on their pc, I was just shocked when I worked mine out as I didn't realize how many hours I actually spent on it.
But I must say, just my internet banking alone takes only 10 minutes on line, oppose to having to drive into town, park the car, pay 50p for car park then go to the bank, queue up withdraw money(risk of spending it in clothes shop enroute) get back into the car, drive to another part of town (risk of getting a speeding ticket) park up, then pay cash into my other bank, that would take about 1 hour, whereas as I stated above only 10 minutes on internet, thus leaving me 50 minutes of spare time, spare time = isketch or www.asos.com
edit: The money I save by not getting parking tickets/speeding tickets I can spend at www.asos.com. so really the more time we spend online the more money we can save.:eek:

i'm too lazy to calculate. but it's definitely over 50hrs/week.
especially now is my holiday. mainly for isketch, forum-ing, online games, and watching videos. or doing graphics as my leisure. ;]

/me spends way too much time on PC although being sick certainly curtailed that!
A lot of my time at work is spent on PC, profiling crooks and cops who are in strife. I also do a lot of risk analysis on PC too so I guess if we included work time I would be adding in about 50 hrs a week on top.

I don't know. A bazillion. I admit that it's pathetic - I still hang out with friends, I work (with no access to a PC), and I work on my own hobbies, like traditional drawing, but I seem to always find time to fit in at least a bazillion hours on my PC.
What's worse is that my mom can (and sometimes does) ground me from the computer, but she's old and her memory is horrible (I blame it on her memory, anyway), and I'm always finding myself on the computer later. I'm addicted!
For some reason, probably the same reason as Sketches, I always manage to do a lot in very little time it seems, because I always have time left.
I guess it's about 25~30 hours a week, but if I've got other things to do I can easily go without for a while. It's just that I really need to do other things when I don't have to do anything. I mean... that's more than a full day every week!
Excluding work, 21-30. I spend way too much time sitting here! Crazy little world that the internet is...
I worked mine out to between 21-30 hours a week, which at first is shocking until I think about a lot of very good friends that I would not have made if I had not been online, so to me thats enough justification!
