Howdy,

I love to try find new bands to listen to and expand my "music" folder on the computer and a thread like this is perfect and often helpfull to accomplish that goal.

The idea is pretty simple, as the title of the thread suggests, you start by naming a band you like and then make suggestions about other bands that you like of a similar genre/style/sound.

Then someone who knows and likes the first band, can try out the other suggested bands and hopefully find a new band to listen to. (Obviously it all works vice-versa too)

Dunno if i explained it well, but the example is probably the best way to describe.

I love the following band I am about to mention. They are old time members of the band Orgy, if anyone remembers them. They are great. They played @ Projekt Revolution. They really are very good.

I suggest to look at the video Kick the Bass (kinda not safe for work) Systeme De Sexe (Bobby Hewitt edit) and of course this song..Which is a recording of them live @ Projekt Revolution! I've had the pleasure of seeing them play twice after that..one time with Evanescence, which performed on Halloween night in our area. Enjoy! It has mild language...just a warning..nothing major.... so there is the disclaimer
