Hi.

When I try to play isketch the game works fine but when it comes to my turn to draw the game doesnt show me the word I have to draw, so obviously I cant play. I have no idea what the problem is.

It doesn't seem like you're even being assigned a word - not just that it's not being shown.

In the game box this is the message that would normally appear:

Whereas in your screenshot the "you're up next to draw, your word is....." part is missing.

You should try letting your round go all the way to the end with no one finding your word, to see if the message "the word was '.....' " is shown. (Best to do in a user created room to avoid annoyance to other players.)

Sounds like quite a complicated problem, hopefully someone can help. (the standard source of help with isketch is emailing your problem to info@isketch.net)

Hi thanks for the suggestion. My friend managed to figure it out. I changed my name and everything works fine now. isketch seemed not to like the user name I had.

Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.

Don't know why it didnt like my name. Whether I was banned or it doesnt like names with numbers at the end. Oh well. It works now.

Yeah, I just tried it myself and if your name is system(numbers) then you don't get shown a word; dont get the message when you find someone elses word; and also can't receive personal messages or invites...

the name system without any numbers crashed firefox and internet explorer (for me at least) O.o

/me hopes this doesn't give away isketch secrets.
