Hi all, used to play isketch loads years back.

Recently started playing again, obviously I'm back to newbie status, new computer etc.

How long does Newbie Status last these days, it used to be 10 games, but I'm past that now, and still in Newbie.

Thanks

Stu

Hiya Stu and welcome back :)

As far as I'm aware, the whole 10 games thing still stands, but someone else had the same problem yesterday so I think there's also a minimum time that you have to play for as well. I have no idea how long it is, but keep playing, you'll get your vote back eventually :)

Fair enough, thanks.
I'll need it soon, getting far too annoyed with cheaters!

Lol yeah, voting is nice, especially when you get the last vote needed and you hear the lovely kick sound. Lol, I'm not that harsh :P: I hope you get yours soon, then you can enjoy it too.

Although, there's something nice about having a noobie dot, very pokeable things they are

Ive always wondered how quickly Newbie status goes away. Not for me (mine disappeared a long time ago) but for people who ask.

I've been playing for a while too and was reset to a Newbie when I reinstalled my browser :disapprove: I wish I knew how many games/days it takes specifically... someone must know right??

It's a little tiring having that dot following me around

A while ago when I played after a fresh install I was annoyed at my noobie dot. I think I managed to get rid of it faster by joining rooms which were on round 9 or 10, waiting for the game to finish, then repeating the process in another room. I did that about 10 times and it worked. Not an instant solution but it is faster.

That's a great idea Peter! Much much better than sitting around and waiting for things to happen heh... Thanks for sharing! Shall try it!!!

Yes, even if you join the room half way through a game, your stats will increase at the end of round 10. If you hop rooms several times your stats will increase more often, making it slightly faster to get the vote :)
