Anyone here own one?
They are great fun, especially the Tennis on Wii Sports. Has anyone tried Mario Strikers Charged online? I haven't bought it yet, I need to know if it's any good before I go spending.
Discuss.

I've played on one! Only played Wii Sports! Tennis was great fun. Boxing was more fun! You gotta remember it's for kids though....Although looking like an idiot trying to pull of some cool combo's is always fun.
Haven't played any other games though...
Slightly off-topic, but I really wanna try "Guitar Hero" on the 360..... Gah, nvm :|
I had one for a few months but the novelty soon wore off for me. :(
Wii sports was great, and I'd have mates round and we'd play bowling and golf till the end of the day... lol.
But I was really disappointed by the controls when playing third party cross-platform games. Even dedicated games like Red Steel were pretty rubbish I thought.

Wii sports was great, and I'd take the Wii to work and we'd play bowling and golf till the end of the shift... lol.
I used to do that too! Naturally I was unbeatable:smile:
I just got Resident Evil 4 today. I'm off home now to play it:smile:

my cousin owns one and we played mario party on it, i think the interactive controllers are a good idea and a semi-good attempt at getting kids to be more active, wii sports is good, but i like playing the mini games on mario party better

The mario party one is fun a bit hard with the controls. Still a big fan of a ll the sports games. :)

A bit agreed on sports,
Wii is really fun when you have people over. I've played warioware at friend's when we had about 7 of us so it was hectic and funny watching all of us play.
As for guitar hero on the 360, it is basically guitar hero on the ps2, no difference at all :)
I can't wait for my friend to get rock band though!!! The drums look really fun on that

I have a Wii, totally love Wii sports and Mario & Sonic olympics. Have had the console since mid Jan 2007. It has now just run out of its guaranttee and it has decided to go wrong on me, its all grainy shadowy shaky etc.. at first I thought it was my telly, but borrowed a mates console, pluged it in and wahey its not the telly, but booo hoooo its me Wii. So shall be on phone tomorrow talking ( calmly i hope ) to nintendo customer care
Typical, just like everything else the wii stuffs up when the warranty expires

lol. the hd-dvd on the ps3 breaks down and the Xbox overheats. They all have some kind of common kink.
Try mario galaxy. It's awesome.
edit: or try this one from thinkgeek http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/41/superpiipii.html

I lolled and had to cover my gob to shut up :embarrassed: dude, 2.0, that's gross! :P
This "common kink" just happens to occur when the warranty runs out. I'm so glad my laptop last year got BSOD within the first six months, at least I got a full refund and got to pick a better, slightly faster laptop. Thing is, I think the one year manufacturer's warranty is almost up.... (although, I think I updated it for a further three years....)
Btw, I do want mario galaxy but I've started Zelda and Spyro (lol) and haven't finished them yet. Might have to put the wii on hold until after my exam but my dad keeps threatening to sell it cos I don't play with it lol. Gawsh, I'm being a good girl and only playing it as a "treat". Parents, eh? :p

I tried to buy super pii pii brothers but was severely dissapointed.
Shame that, I bet your aim would have been fantastic :p

I wouldnt mind playing a game on a Wii but I wouldnt go out and buy one. I do have a PS1, a Super Nintendo, and a very old Atari 2600 but they dont see much action anymore. If I want to play a game its mostly on the computer. I just dont have time for those systems that are dedicated to games. Now, I do have to say that my computer comes fully loaded for some awesome games(as well as media). The guys say I like a lot of games that they think only a guy would play like Ghost Recon, Resident Evil, Max Payne, Starcraft or Age of Empires. How dare they!
