Please also be aware that I'm choosing to display names with votes so that I can only count the votes from people who are playing :)

Haha db, I didn't think you'd really make a poll! But yes, it's the best way to decide :) Although if a player objected to one of the other wordlists, you'd be obliged to make another poll! Dangerous precedent but let's not go there :p.

I will vote for one as soon as I remember what it feels like to play them, which may be on the day of the final :s

Ugh... I hate palindromes. They're sooooo annoying. You think that you've got the word, but there are always more palindromes between two palindromes. I mean... it's like... you think that the word is 'devil lived', but it's 'devil sinned, Dennis lived'. WOW... I made up my own palindrome (or palindromic sentence?)! WOOOHOOOO! I must get an award... lol... :razz: :twisted:

'devil sinned, Dennis lived' - there were quite a lot like that, but I removed (or hopefully removed!) them all before I originally submitted the puzzle list, as I thought names wouldn't be very good in a puzzle. :smile:

I've always thought palindromes makes your brain (as a guesser) think in completely different ways to any other of the sets of puzzles...

Although I like both lists myself, the last wordlist in the final will be Spelling :)

um.....i'd advise people to practice spelling :P as i figure most people havent played the wordlist/rarely play it...

Palindromes is not that bad really. It requires some thought about guessing, but hey, doesn't Expert, Spelling or Anagrams take some thinking too? :P
