ok so, for around 3 weeks now I've had the strangest lag on ISketch. I think we've all experienced it before, when the game freezes and you can't type or draw, then suddely a few rounds will whizz by in a matter of seconds when you catch up. This is different, I can catch up by pressing "enter" Of course I have to press it every few seconds to keep up with the game properly, and if I forget to press it, I end up looking at the same draw for aaages. It's a little annoying when I draw too, because I can't tell immediately when the word has been guessed or even if the round is over, because if I press enter it while it's my draw, it presses Done. And Done sucks.
Soooo can anyone help me get rid of this? I clear cache regularly, and rarely have other windows open when I play. Am using latest version of Firefox, although I'll try Chrome in a sec to see if it's any different.

ok I just tried Chrome and it's fine, so must be a Firefox thang...not sure why as I double checked and have all the latest plug-ins and everything is up to date:/

I had to give Firefox the flick a couple of years ago because I was having troubles like that. I've used Chrome since, with little to no problems.

I've used Chrome since, with little to no problems.

I used to use IE for iSketch, and everything Internet-based for that matter, but since I moved to Chrome it seems a lot better. Another thing I've noticed with Chrome is that I can one-stroke draw for longer and still see the drawing, whereas with IE the line stops after a while and I'm, in effect, drawing blind.

Seems strange though, I've seen a few people just randomly disconnect. Wonder if they are using Firefox?

Good luck elfy :)

I used to have problems with one strokes a while ago, but not recently, FF must have fixed that or something. Never use dirty dirty IE :P Don't really like Chrome and the way it's set up, but if it means i dun have to press enter continuously, fine..I'll use it for ISketch :P
