It snows properly here about once every 10 years - I mean, snow on the ground enough to make a snowman etc, rather than on Mt Wellington which is almost a given all Winter. Last time it snowed to ground level here, was 2 years ago....and the kids were fascinated.....I had to keep reminding myself that it only happened once a decade - as they went out, came inside after 5 minutes cos they were cold, got rugged up in new clothes, went out, came inside cos they were cold, got changed, went out............came inside after 5 minutes...I ended up with about 4 lots of laundry. But.....they enjoyed it, so meh, the memories for them will be nice.

Heh I have attempted to. :D My dad bought us one for christmas ages ago, and we figured out how to use it once, kinda... But we lived in a flat so it was very hard to use it. And now we've moved we still haven't used it. One day eh? :D

I think I do; but sometimes I just really have to. Keep an eye on the emails, working on meeting some deadlines, write and write, read and read and read some more (most of which in PDFs).
But other times I'm just trying to find motivation to do all that, and I just waste my time on stuff. Or, weirdly, read on other academic topics that I'm not studying. Seems like what's interesting is always what you're not doing... It's like once you have something you'd rather have something else instead.
But before we go into the meaning of life or something:

I wish! I have 4 hoodies, a sweater and a thin jacket on permanent rotation as my 'winter collection'. And it's not for a lack of trying, but whatever I like is over-expensive, and whatever is affordable seems boring... (and I'm going to the US for 5 weeks soon, so I can't spend... anything).
Maybe I'll buy something there. You can envy me as I travel to Philadelphia, DC, Baltimore, NYC and Boston (and North Carolina, haha).

LOL nope. We don't do the big traditional food feast. Our Christmas day is spent playing with the presents found under the tree in the morning. Christmas food is usually snacky type stuff on the run. Will have a big feast at Mr Saff's sister's house tomorrow though ;)

Three little people who wake up early, and are beside themselves with excitement.
All looking at a small roll of paper that says "Open LAST" and hanging to get all the presents out of the way in order to get to that one.
Finally opening it and racing out to the back yard to find the trampoline.
Spending the day painting with new paints, drawing with new crayons, playing new board games, eating chocolates, filling in puzzle books, doing jigsaws........boring? No, sir!
