We've all taken photos, right? Post your favourite shots. Ones that you took. Or a friend, or a relative, or your partner.

Well, today I got the wonderful opportunity to take a picture of a beautiful dragonfly which at this very moment is still sitting on the garage door. Luckily it's the most patient bug ever; I had to borrow batteries for the camera from the neighbours first -haha.

Here it is. :!: Warning, 700 kb

That's a lovely pic, Nay! I had a similarish one of a butterfly in the forest, but I can't find it now.

Here are two I took - the first one in Venice - not a great pic but somehow it appeals to me - they look relaxed in a very Italian way! The second one is the smithy on Rothenburg, a fairly well preserved medieval town here in Germany where we went last sunday. I'd love to live in that house! It looks like a little witches cottage. My display pic is also one I took, in Sorrento. And my sig pic is obviously one I took of Charlie.

I love photos of people in daily circumstances. I can see why you like it.

Update on the dragonfly: it was so patient because it was dying. We picked it up and put it on the workbench in the garage because it fell down. I guess it'll go into the drawer of the glass table, next to the swallowtail (butterfly)

Here's one of a green tree frog that visits Mrs BM's Grandmother and hangs on the guttering downpipe.

Nice photos so far, I hope I get a chance to see some more of them.
I have a huge spider which has built a web in the middle of my tomato plants. She's not hurting anyone, doesn't bother the tomatoes or me for that matter. I just work around her large web. I'll try to remember to snap a good photo of her tomorrow and post it here.

A rainstorm has relocated my little buddy, and saved me the embarassment of all of you seeing my lack of photography talent!

This is one that has always been one of my favorites. I took this when I was in high school, so about 16 or 17 years ago or more, also way before digital photography. I even won some photography awards back then.

This is an image taken from inside a hot air balloon, looking up.

In France, our tour guide somehow managed to set up this dance for us... I'm not much of a dancer, but I took a couple of pictures. I've always liked this one because the camera managed to capture the movement of light.

Hanauma Bay. Lovely place to snorkel. Unfortunately, we went at low tide, and I still have scars from the reef.

Er. Hope I'm not breaking any image size restrictions... *goes off to check the rules*

EDIT: er... still not sure if the rules apply here? I'll resize them anyways, just hold on. xD
EDIT: there. A bit smaller now.

Last year we took a cruise, me, my family and a few friends. This was my favourite stop- St.Kitts. It's very hilly, and as soon as you take a corner your whole view changes.

And I have to include my favourite place- Fenway Park, Home of the Boston Red Sox. Love going to see games. A 30 minute drive from my house, Boston is like a second home

Lol, I have to say that's very considerate of you.

/me has a huge phobia of spiders
I'd probably just break the spider's web. I'm mean like that :/

Some very nice pictures, guys! :)

I've just posted this one as a random happiness as the little thing seemed happy to pose for me. I took a few but loved the colouring in this (untouched, just cropped and resized) shot:

Although the bars of the cage distract slightly, the look in this one's eyes seem to say a lot

I'm glad it's not just Bad_MaNneR$ has a meerkat fetish ....

So, I was kind of in the Alps yesterday, visiting a castle called 'Neuschwanstein' and I took these pics :)

Here is a baby swan in the lake having a wash. The King who lived in the castle really, really liked swans. So there's tons around. Not too keen on the adult variety, so I just took pics of the babies :P He was actually shaking his head when I took the pic - you can see some of the water droplets coming off, but not as many as I would have liked.

Here is a view from the castle of the alps in the distance. I like how the sun lit up the lake. You can see some of the perma-snow on the mountains.

And here is another view of the alps. We had lovely weather :S

Beautiful scenery in the Alps, Vik!

I could have sworn I posted this picture that I took of my niece getting married at sunset on the Florida Gulf coast, but I can't find it, so here we go again:

Nice photos everyone :)!

I love Neuschwanstein, Vik. And I really do think that bad weather often makes great views. Fog in the Alps is pretty cool too, if it isn't too thick.

Hell, the Alps are just always pretty. I've been there so often and it'll never bore me.

Sorry for the poor quality. I snapped with one up on my old school cel, just before I took a massive tumble head first...down a steep-az slope! lmao
I reckon it came off decent eh..the guy posing/overlooking was right there in the moment. That's north island, Aoteroa by the way.
