lol vik, and you'll have it for a while. It's a fantastic show, i wish they had more of that in this country.

I saw turandot last year and there's this little bit of music in the opera that when i heard it i realized that early WB cartoons took that bit and made it the standard 3 second sound to indicate that something is chinese. It still is used as the standard i believe. 8 months later i'm still huming it :embarrassed: .

Edit: To clear things up for you. I work from home.. I do open up the forum page throughout the day and read/post. But I don't leave it open or anything, I just open the page up loads of times when I get a moment to read. So yeah... *blush* And that goes for isketch too.. :P I tend to avoid isketch mostly before 1.pm, and then log on and off after that, and then by late evening, I stay on for a few hours. That's not really 24/7.. or maybe I'm in denial about it? :razz:

i don't know if this should go into the RH thread since i'm not exactly elated about it, but, after a month,

he finally apologized.

it wasn't much of one, really. just some muttering in chinese about how he didn't mean to get so angry and how he was sorry that he got me so upset. i told him that i need an apology and a guarantee he wouldn't ever do it again, and he said he wouldn't want to in the future. :/

then he said i had to apologize, too. for what, i'm not exactly sure, but i did since it's been a month, and i didn't want to screw everything up again. and then he muttered an apology. i know how hard it must have been for him.

my mom was standing by looking kind of hopefully at the both of us, and she told us to hug. i couldn't. :|

i told him that i forgave him, but i wasn't ready to hug him. and basically, i spewed out my frustrations over the past month about him, and he just stood there and took it.

now, i think it'd be a lot easier to have just hugged him, but i really needed him to know about how hard it's been for me. i mean, it's nothing compared to some of those stories you read in Chicken Soup, but it was a pretty big deal for me. i'm just rambling now, so i'll stop.

Well that's good news, kinda. At least you guys are in speaking terms again.

RH: Got some gorgeous daffs in a vase and we have finally gotten around to planting up some window boxes for the balcony, as well as a hanging basket.

Fresh rosmary and oregano at last! And the lavender smells sooo good. Now I can't wait for spring/summer so we can sit out there are enjoy it.

As it turns out, everyone else who went on to do their oral also came out in a fableeous mood, even if they did really badly.

My RH - not too exciting, sorry Tasha! My new camera finally arrived. And it's the right colour this time! And it works this time!! And it takes lovely pics!!!

And I am going to try to figure out how to link to my photoalbum online so you can see my first pictures. They are only my messing around, trying out all the settings - nothing too interesting. The subject matter is fairly dull - the cat, me, flowers, the view outside etc, so unless you have an interest in photography, you shouldn't look lest you have the pants bored off you!

The only concern with the camera is a slight vignetting on some shots - a black/grey area in the corner, which is actually the very edge of the lens. Apart from that, super camera!

Ummm.. somewhere that no-one else can see them, apparently... Tasha, do you know a site where I can make a photo-album and make it so there's a link so everyone gets to see it?
