I have read all the rules and am positive this is a stupid question but, I play all the time under the same username. I was under the impression that I had registered my name yesterday because I got the little dot next to my name and it went away after a few games. The little triangle for warning players never appeared and I don't have to enter a password to play under my name. How do I make it so that a password is required?

Losing a dot doesn't mean you've registered. It just means that you're not a newbie anymore. After playing more games, you gain voting privileges (which is the warning triangle).
Registrations are only for special cases and admins. Normal players don't get it.
There's been a lot of speculation and discussion about it in other threads (http://www.isketchforum.net/registration-and-imposters-t2510.html), if you want more information about its pros and cons.

Doesn't the dot mean that you are a newbie? When you lose the dot you become a regular player and get the voting privileges and such.
