Dear iSketch users,
I was talking to Rob(The creator of iSketch) and he was talking about registrations. I asked him When will registrations happen? He answered back saying earlier this year:biggrin:
But There will be a Fee for registrations. Rob only accepts paypal.
Registrations will price for about $15 to about $20. Rob still hasn't made up his mind for the price range. BUT there will definitely be registrations earlier of this year.

Is it too soon to ask.... Is this a one-time fee??? What other advantages do people that pay get over people that dont, besides always having their registered screen name?

I think it may be a non-existent, made up fee.

Maybe even a non-existent, made up, conversation ^^
I'll believe it when I see it...

I'd be very wary about anyone who says "Yeah pay your subscription fee here, we'll email you a password and registration" ... call me cynical but until an Admin or Mod posts real proof I'll keep my Paypal details to myself :oS
However if it turns out to be true I'd pay. Maybe have a trial system of 10 games for free to see if new players like the atmos and want to pay up to stay.

I will believe it when I see it  Rumours have been abound for many months now - with no official response from either Rob or the Administrators. Speculation is one thing - confirmation completely something else.

Sounds like utter bollocks to me - check this LINK (http://www.isketchforum.net/search.php?searchid=164253)and decide the veracity of this post for yourself.

And the result page says "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."
In all honesty, in the years ive been playing iSketch for, I have heard so many "it may happen later this year" from various people who know some admins personally even.
So im just going to be patient and wait for it.
As for how much id pay, probably up to $30. iSketch is worth it, and the extra money into iSketch would allow for further improvments (like better server to allow more users)

Oh - bugger - it was a search to ID all 3 other posts made by the author.....
Call me a cynic but I get the impression of the author as not an iSketch Admin or someone who would be in contact with Rob ...
And if / when iSketch starts registrations I am sure it will be on the site and not leaked via an unknown source citing contact with the owner.

The admin I asked about it said not to believe that post.
If we were to pay for registered usernames and all you got was a registered name, I personally would have no interest.

I would also not pay if it was just the registered username, to be honest i dont think that getting your username registered would be worth the fee, maybe if there was some more added features for the registered people i would, but it all depends ;-)

But what about paying for isketch, with or without registered username, afterall, Rob has spend alot of time developing the game.I have seen other game sites that charge and they aren't as half as good as isketch.
