I think there is still loads of competition out there. I don't know what rooms you go into but i know that in some Easy UK rooms, there's always competition. I won't name names but i know that they're there!

oh and yeah I play easy rooms a LOT just because the rounds are over quickly, and I get more drawing rounds :D And call me crazy, but it's fun to see the wicked conversations of new people vs. regulars, and there's some joy in helping people with the game. :)

I usually play the tandem room, though lately I've been branching out to the easy rooms quite often. I see Incognito in tandem a lot, and sometimes run into !!Ewe and Triangulus in other rooms.. Never seen the others you named though, probably because I've only been playing iSketch for a year and a half or so :embarrassed:

As for Muff, I've seen her around a few times and got slurrped. I actually beat her! But I feel she was going a bit easy ;) Incognito is just in different rooms, I might convince him to play a few games in the US easy again and Nessa has been off for who knows how long. Quicker is on every now and then. nyboy91... well I don't think he'll be coming back.

If you're looking for competition, try Tay, jeter-cano22 and others that they hang around with. They're tough stuff and will whoop you in to shape!

Everyone gets busy at some point or another. I play with jeter all the time and have gotten accustomed to losing. What ever happened to Engel? She was really good.

There has been a recent influx of other Aussies (and some Kiwi's too) playing - in fact I think there was only Spacey and 1 other in a full room the other night that were not Australians.

I played a new player last night that I have never seen before and s/he kicked arse in UK Expert. zodiac I think was the name and the IP was coming out of the UK somewhere. Red hot player. Was beating everyone by miles.

EST/EDT I started out in the "theme" rooms (well, i remember when there was only 20ish rooms in total on the list) BP, Conn. Blitz! etc.. but now I'm just Easy. HEY! I have played with Eric_Cartman - one to certainly watch out for! NoHints is another player who is very competitive and a more recent player - 'KittyKat' deserves a special mention. They may be less loud than other flamboyant players - but they will certainly sort out the men from the boys, imho and better still - they don't brag about it! :razz: Special kudos go to Katie.Lemon - she loves my what whats - and again is a great player (just a bit LOUDER than the others!! :razz:).

In case my previous message was one of the ones considered cocky, and because that's not what I was going for, let me attempt to be more clear:

This is a useful thread for those looking for better games with the more experienced players. And because some of the earlier posts are out of date, I can add that, more recently, I have seen some of the players mentioned above. In addition, Fiyero and DarkLilac aren't bad. I am usually at least competitive with many of the players mentioned as well, and very much enjoy good rooms, whether I'm winning or losing. So please feel free to find and/or invite me.

Also, it must be bad that I think I can understand most of MuffnCuff's messages, but my favorite part is the subliminal jewelry :smile:

I look at this thread everytime i come on and have a laugh ,i really do, although i may not have been on as much as usual ive played and watched a LOT of isketch under Bell and other names

I know a few players , one Brit in particular who only play seriously under random names I wish i could talk him into playing in a tourny because ive yet to see anyone match him although i must admit ive not watched him play in the science room and a few others but im sure he blitz's like he does in the blitz room ( bad pun i know)

I agree with MissN's comment on this thread : No matter how good you think you are there is always someone better out there. And I tell you what ... there is lots of great competition on here. But to me, great competition is not someone who comes on with a huge ego ... its someone you can have fun with on the same level and provides a plain of competition so that if you do lose, it's still been a lot of fun.

I always say: I'd rather lose in a good room than win in a bad room.

The competition on isk is awesome, I've been around about four years now ... and it really depends on which room you choose. I do however think the ones who ruin it are on the increase and are making it harder to find a roomfull of good players.

But that is all good, makes you appreciate the good rooms when you do find them.

Nuka, I love the comment about having a huge ego!! It bugs me to death when people are so obsessed with being the best that they forget to have fun. I think there is still fierce competition out there. Blitz! is usually a good time when you play with fast typers..intense! I'll always love UK and US easy when relaxing on iSketch though. :-)

or maybe I am just getting worse..and the n00bs are good competition...
