We could use a "feelgood" thread.
Everyone has some little thing that makes him or her feel good; a memory, a smell, a word, an act. Let's hear about them.
I love having my hair brushed.
Next?

one time i was on vacation with my family.. and i had to pee really bad (sorry if thats awkward) and i had to wait two hours before we found the nearest toilet because we were stuck in the middle of a traffic jammed highway in new jersey... and it just felt good to finally be able to relieve myself..

dont know if thats the type of thing that should go here... but its a true story.. :embarrassed:

No idea bro. The fox channel for latin interest, which is based in chile, is still airing the 2005 episores as "new", and i cannot get the american fox or any of the channels where the simpsons is syndicated. We do get pleeeeeeenty of reruns, which i'm not complaining about.

Like it takes a freakin year to put subtitles on a 22 minute show.

Whoyou,
Remember those friendships, don't lose touch with those people, they will always be special to you.
Yes, snow has a smell, but don't really care if I ever smell it again, had enough of that crap in my childhood. Now I love the smell of rain, oh wait, even better is the smell of the first grass mowing in the springtime.

The problem was that the link was not the direct link to the image, it was just a link to view it on a photobucket page within your account. I've fixed it though.

i didn't get any of that. so, for photobucket, how do you get the direct link to the image? i thought that was it. :S

and what do you mean, how's a.. oh. never mind.

hehe. that reminds me... for English, we're doing some speeches... this guy was talking about picking blueberries. near the beginning, he said something along the lines of "you want to grab a bunch like this." he then mimes grabbing something round... that reminds the class of.. heh. we all burst out laughing. later on in the speech, he was saying things about freezing them, and storing them... then he said "unless you want to eat them right away, you shouldn't wash them because they'll get soft." the class was in hysterics.

SP's mostly come from my children who remind me in a hundred different ways to stop stressing about what might be and live in the moment....the random giggles, the looks of pure joy and surprise and wonder at things that you forget were so joyful and surprising and wonderful because you're now a grown up with too many things to worry about.

Coming back from Bruny Island on the ferry, we got out of the car and went to the top deck. The kids leaned over to watch the waves as the ferry pushed through the water. Ten minutes of discussing the possibilities of what might be in the water and whether they might see a dolphin! and enjoying the sensation of the wind in my face rather than worrying about whether they would fall, are they warm enough, however am I going to get the dirt off their feet cos they left their shoes in the car.....
