Banned? Are you sure you weren't just blocked?

In my personal view, animals mating is not NECESSARY to depict the word spring. The word can be tastefully, safely and unoffensively done by using spring flowers, 4 seasons, or even (surprise surprise) a spring! Taking it to the 'next level' with a bit of naughty intent in a public room could come across as offensive to some players...and if they vote, then I guess the admin will action. Those kinds of pics are better done in the safety of the custom rooms, I and my group of friends have found.

nope i dont have a screen shot.yes of course mating animals is not the easiest way to sketch SPRÝNG.but especialy in turkish rooms the words are not too much.and i am playing isketch something like 7 years or 6 .so not only the words but even the way of ppl sketching them are memorized by regulars.And as a regular i mostly try to sketch the words in different way.if i can imagine a different way or something fun than i sketch the word that way.(at least try to sketch).So mating animals sketch was one of them.
and it was a standart way of sketching them.i mean the way they do in nature.there wasnt any erotic stuff like stockings or lingeries bla bla.(it would be funny though..dog with stockings)and if some one count this as a sexual drawing i am sorry but that is not my problem but his/her....there is a sickness in phscology whic is called zoophilia...(btw there was no penis or anyother thing in the sketch)

ps. soulangel, in turkish (suprise suprise) spring means yay...but the spring i was sketching means ''bahar'' in turkish..

Perhaps knowing you were Turkish may have helped before anyone replied :) As English words have some different interpretations than Turkish words. In English, spring can be the season, an action, or a coil. Of course, in Turkish, you have separate words for spring season and spring coil. I'm sorry I didn't know beforehand.

Perhaps if you have a problem with your removal from the game, you might like to drop a line to Feedback and explain your position. Admins don't always come onto this player forum, so you might not get a direct reply from one.

Pacharel, I hope that it was not a Ban, but in your case usually the only way to get banned from the site is if you have constant violations. You should know the rules if you have honestly been playing for that long and know that if you draw animals/people mating it is against the rules and will get you kicked. Good luck

it is a ban....and i know the rules .in the rules it say sexual sketchs are forbiden.And as I said before in almost every documentry channels before 10pm they broadcast animals mating.if someone counts dogs and flys mating as sexual than i am sorry but i must suspect about his/her pshcological condition.
beside that sexual sketchs forbidden rule is not so clear.everyone probably have seen comics about nurses...the nurses are mostly sketched very erotic in caricatures. its a classic. near a serious looking doctor , u draw very erotic, sexy nurse.and to see those two totaly different figures in a scene is humor.so acording to that rule u cant sketch that clasical nurse.
acording to me the word in the rule should be changed to porn.porn word is clear.noone can argue on that.its lines are clear and realy few gray zones will be left.but when u use the sexual word in a rule.almost everywhere is in gray zone.

as i said before sexy word cant be clear.you can draw a woman's feet and some ppl can think its sexy.So to get rid of unclearness the word should be porn.

well it's all down to taste I guess :S I don't see anything wrong with the nursey pics, they are perhaps more titilating than sexy....I think the point people are trying to make here is that there are many ways of drawing the word you were given, and you chose an inappropriate one maybe.

i do understand ur point of view elfy, but there were two main things i was trying to say.1. my sketch was not inappropriate.there wasnt any rule violations in my sketch.as we see those scenes in almost every documentry channels before 9pm.
2.to finish these kinds of discussions, the sexual word in the rules, should be changed to porn.cause who can give me the guaratie of my not being banned again by another admin because of my drawing some sketchs like the nurse sketchs i linked(wow this sentence was hard for me as my english is not so good).and if an admin will do such a thing in the game than i cant defend myself cause those nurse sketchs are erotic.
btw i left a feedback and i am nomore banned.:)))still wondering which admin banned me.and if he had a warning about his actions.

First of all, This is iSketch, we have no control over what National Geo shows, even if they were to show animals mating it does not give you the right to draw it in Public Rooms. If you really wanted to draw this then draw in a "UCR" (User Created Room).

Secondly. I do not believe that Nat Geo or any other documentary channels show the Penis....and most likely you drew a penis, because as you said...

There is no way to draw mating without the private parts. When you draw a Penis that is immediate removal from a room.

Is that not what you should have drawn in the first place, because when I think about my own drawings...I do not conceder anything such as animals mating as spring.

I disagree, Arris. It's best to not make such broad sweeping statements like "....and most likely you drew a penis..." because a) you haven't seen the picture and b) there is definitely a way of drawing mating animals without showing the penis...usually it's already inserted, therefore you only see an animal mounted on top of another. No private parts would need to be necessary.

I'm not condoning, nor condemning the picture, as we have not seen it, and it's between the admin, the player, and feedback. But of course, drawing mating animals might be appropriate for the word 'mate' or something similar, but probably not necessary or appropriate in a public room for something like 'spring'. One would need to give that some thought, I should think, as it could (and clearly was) deemed inappropriate.

Pacharel, have you been contacted by Feedback and advised you are 'no longer banned'? Or was this perhaps simply a block which is temporary - not a ban, which is permanent - and you have now found you are able to get back into the game?

Although I am not an iSketch Admin I can however give you a valuable piece of advice with regards to what you are allowed to draw and here it is.

If you are in any doubt about whether the rules allow a drawing you have planned, the best thing you can do is to find another way to draw it that does not lead to doubt.

soul.... it was imposibble for me to get a screen shot cause admin ''banned'' me in the other ppl's turn.my sketch wasnt on my screen when i was banned.

jobe+soul...i am a turkish guy, i am playing this game for something like 7 years.my sketchs are not bad.they are much better than a standart isketch user at least.And in this 7 years; as i said before, not only the words are same even the way ppl drawing them are almost same.so regular users who have memorized both the words and the sketchs,guess them in the first 10 seconds usualy.and to prevent this if i am in good mood and if i can find a different way(mostly harder and funny)to draw the word than i choose that. i know drawing butterfly, flowers and trees..or seperating the scene into 4 and drawing snow rain yellow leaf and sun for the spring (spring coil is not the same word in turkish for spring.so drawing a spring wont work in turkish).but i dont like to do that because of the reason i wrote.and in my opinion its more fun the way i do.cause u realy use ur brain.
of course i am not talking about surealism and stuff like that.
but i am the guy who draws a bee reading his newspaper in a toilet for the word ''honey'' :)))u see a guy reading a newspaper in a toilet at first..and than in few seconds its turned to a bee and u see something u dont expect .a suprise..and i guess its humor. but u still can find the word.

Will nonNative English speaking/typing members people stop apologizing for their english grammar/spelling issues! You do a faaaaarrrr better job than us with english, than we could do at, in this case, Turkish!

Your English is pretty darn good, as Jobe has already said. I know I wouldn't be able to handle Turkish as well as you handle English. Well done. If you are back in the game after just 2 or 3 days, hon, then it seems to me that you were not banned, that is a just a block and you are now able to play again. Have fun.

but when u are blocked doesnt it say ; u are block for bla bla seconds...
the sentence i read in shiney red letters; though its being so bright red adds aditional depression:))), was ''you are banned.no porn pictures''. i guess after feedback i am unbanned thanks to admins.:)

I have noticed that when players are kicked for using letters, they are given a time in minutes that they are out of the game. I have also noticed that if they are kicked for their drawing (rather than letters) then no time is given.

Anyway...the way to tell if you were blocked or banned is when you try to log back on. If you are blocked, the message you get will be something like "You have been blocked from the game" - I don't know the wording for logging on after a ban, as I've never experienced it, but I'm sure it would be very clear that it wasn't a block.
