Are we allowed to post more than one message on a board, or are we supposed to just edit the first one?

Are we allowed to post more than one message on a board, or are we supposed to just edit the first one?

It depends on the situation. If it's been a long time since you posted last on a thread (days at least) and you want to add something new, then you may double post. If you double post same day get ready to get your messages merged. We encourage the use of the EDIT button to avoid getting merged.

Of course you're allowed to post more than one message! When another message has been posted after your initial one as a response, go ahead and reply in a new post :) That way, you get an easy overview of when what's been said and what it's a reaction on (i.e. last post's statement). This happens all over the internet on forums.

If you look carefully you see there's an underground competition on who has the most posts, this wouldn't work if we'd edit our posts all the time, lol! XD

Oh, okay. And why is the little circle beside our usernames either grey or green? Also, what does the symbol under the number of posts you've made mean?
Thanks a lot!

the little circle means whether you're online or not green is yes, grey is no

the little symbols are what messengers people use and display on their profiles

I'm a messenger person. Do I get a symbol?

I'm a messenger person. Do I get a symbol?

Go to your UserCP (top left of the page), then edit profile and add your msn, yahoo, icq etc to your instant messenger preferences.
