Sitting on nine at the moment... looking at it... reading it... not getting it...
You know what I have to say about this game?.....

Aaarghh 3rd riddle, I know what all relate to , however, when I type in this relation . . .
Anyway I'll think about it
. . . Got it and Tinkerbell had to cheat tsk tsk
That the 'London, River Kwai, etc' one? The dude that wrote this quiz obviously has a weird mind... You have to take the four items, and also take into account a word that can be roughly defined by the statement beneath them. If that makes sense. I think its odd (It's past-tense form).

bahhhh i'm stuck on 13 now. hmphhh. i can't even cheat on this one. D:
""Well, 2 is the first, and 13 is the sixth, and the answer would be the eighth. ""
time for a break i think.
That means you can help me with 12 Tink :D
Pretty please... :)
ok I am feeling dense cause I cannot figure out 3 for the life of me! ><

lol 12, in what case can you get 13, from 12 (dozen is part of the answer)
I can't even get past Clint Eastwood...!
NVM. That was deceiving :P
I can't even get past Clint Eastwood...!
Oh good! I thought I was the only one :embarrassed:

Whats "Uno" ?
AJ: compare the page layout with that of the previous page. There's an apparently famous line from that film that will get you on your way.
Deadlock: What Uno is doesn't matter. It's about what uno is.
As for me, I'm now stuck on 11. Like Ches, I don't know his songs very well.

Tasha, think of the link between them first.
Then take a careful look at the hint "There must be some way to shorten this list!" . .
You'll need to know some (nvm =p) . . something which relates to the link and the hint . .
AJ: compare the page layout with that of the previous page. There's an apparently famous line from that film that will get you on your way.
Pah, I knew that, I just didn't know that

Google it =p
Never heard of the song "[part of the answer] over the River Kwai"? And how about that red thing in San Fransisco?
But then still it's not easy to find the answer. It's in past tense, should you ever get to it.

You'll need some direction on 4th riddle . . .
Ooops... I meant I was stuck on 11. Hints welcomed :D

Ok well google will work for one part and the clue is in the answer
I suppose he's referring to the line 'The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind', but nothing really seems to work...
EDIT: But apparently he insists on a different spelling :/
Stuck on 13 now. Maths...
Stuck on 13 now. Maths...
I think Tinkerbell just posted the riddle in an earlier post here. It's not difficult at all Nay :p
Btw.. I'm stuck on number three even though I know what the four "items" have in common but cos someone posted the riddle to number 13 I'm on riddle 14 :/ (I was just curious :P)

Hmm, on seventeen now and I actually got there by going back to riddle three. Duh to three btw; they seem so obvious once you've worked them out.
Bleh I gave up on it....it was making me mad lol
Wow I finally got 3...I know took me long enough. My brain was just not wanting to go to that word for some reason! ANYWHO....now 4...I dont get it. Course i've only been looking at it for maybe 30 seconds...=P
Ah I like fourteen, only cos my initial answer made me laugh and I realised how daft I was being.

Argh great find Tasha but I'm stuck on 13 :( any hints please?

What was 13 again? I cba to check.
Hey.It's.Me!
31-08-2008, 09:45 PM
It says
Well, 2 is the first, and 13 is the sixth, and the answer would be the eighth.
x
Ah that one is easy. Think of a number sequence that starts with 2 and the sixth number in that sequence is 13. Well not really a sequence of numbers more a group of numbers ;)
2, _, _, _, _, 13, _, <answer>

for 17 :
"So you have a knack for riddles? your knowledge is truly astounding"
two words in the above statement have certain letters common between them. find another word, with the same common letters (and also have a part of the game's name)
Two letters are common
for 8 :
Where exactly is your mouth. Look for it in the page... (there is something not right there)

i'm stuck on 4.
the "HIJKLMNO" one.
btw, filling in the left-out letters is not the answer! :( T_T
Hey.It's.Me!
03-09-2008, 08:49 PM
Tasha, in 17
2 of the words in the sentence begin with the same 2 letters. Take those 2 letters and add them to one of the words that are in the title of the game. Those 2 added together will spell 'what is done to wood to give it better grip' like it says in the clue
Hope that helps : D then you can move on to 18 and help me hehe

i'm on 20 and can't get it. i know what the significance is of those words, but don't know how to put them together...
for 18: use the periodic table
Capt_Sparrow
04-09-2008, 05:07 PM
I'm stuck on 18 too
I have the same as you tasha except:
"use the hint from riddle 15" is just the "elemental" part i think
"add the answer to riddle 5" might be in terms of the periodic table rather than it's actual answer
"cut yourself and put something on it" maybe a disinfectant?
"get rid of some air in the room" might be taking away a letter already in your answer
I was thinking the same thing as you for "turn of[f] a match and make something go "Pop""
I haven't used the last clue yet but titanium is Ti and thallium is Tl
hope it helps!
Hey.It's.Me!
04-09-2008, 08:33 PM
18 im in the same position as you guys:
Use the hint from 15 , means it is an element, but I keep (P) in mind just in case,
add HO from riddle 4
from q 5 I assumed it meant no. 9 in the table which is (F) iron
Cut yourself and put something on it? maybe Iodine (I)
Get rid of some air, makes a match pop. I have no idea! maybe oxygen? so (O)
As for the letter appearing 7 times, i did trial and error too and had no luck, but if it doesnt appear on it's own it could be (A,D,E,G,J,L,M,Q,R,T,X,Z) so : /
which gives me FIOHO (+ possibly P and another letter which im not sure on)
sorry for the long boring post but im so frustrated with this lol. So if anyone gets it pleeeease share : )
xx
Alessadri

I was actually lucky with 18
From the clues... i got
NA - sodium
F - Flourine (9)
I - Iodine ("cut yourself and put something on it")
i just tried an anagram of these, plus one more letter... which appears many times in the periodic table, but never alone (thats T)... and i got it.
But i believe the puzzle has got more than this to be solved
For 20 :
It was foolish of me to think the answer was a meaningful word...
if u know the significance... just type in all of them
Hey.It's.Me!
05-09-2008, 08:20 PM
Thaaankyou Alessadri!!!! it seems so simple now : / I just made it really complecated I think : / and also F = fluorine not Iron , duh me. But thanks! The answer from 4 and something that makes a match pop doesnt even seem to come into it?
xx

Yeah 19 was pretty easy I think, considering its the second to last. I still dont think 18 was worded that well but at least I'm passed it.
OK 20, I tried capital letters too, Even the countries that they are capitals of : / me --->
