Sooooooooo, I've been having this problem with my sound on iSketch. It's occasional. And I know others have had the same problem. But when it happens, it basically wipes the sound completely out from my speakers. I end up having to either refresh the page or even close the browser and then re-enter iSketch for the sound to return. It usually happens when emotes are done, but it doesn't always happen. It's pretty feisty.
I'm using Firefox, and I'm just curious to find out if anyone has found a fix for it. Thanks.
Ouch!

I'd like to help you, but sadly I don't have a finite answer.
There are so many glitches and foibles with computers.
You could turn the sound off in the 'options'?
The fireworks at the end of game caused me complications in the past, I have them turned off.
SMAX caused me grief too. Disable that?

I had this problem a lot in the past, but it would affect my whole sound; I couldn't get any sound from any program. It would also happen occasionally, the same occasionally as you describe, I imagine. My solution to it was to completely restart my computer.
Otherwise, I'm not sure what else you can do, I'm afraid, other than perhaps asking those lovely techie guys and girls at Feedback (info@isketch.net) to see if they can find a fix :)
Good luck though :)

Yeah, none of that is the issue, Ouch!. Thanks though.
And yeah, db, I don't have to restart the whole computer thankfully but just the browser itself. So I guess the issue I'm having is slightly less terrible than the one you had. I guess contacting them through the feedback might be the best way to go.
Ouch!

I've changed to FireFox recently, it makes the internet a lot faster generally, but it has it's downsides too. Scrolling is cr*p.
Try a different browser may be?
It's so annoying when things don't work properly.

You could try clearing your cache - this forces a fresh download of the site and can "freshen" up the sounds file.
Or you can try going to Settings and turning off notifications of the emoties and/or other sounds, as you prefer.

@Ouch!: Yeah, I think using a different browser does solve the issue, but eh, I'm rather attached to Firefox.

The one solution that I HAVE found to work is keeping some outside stream of music going from my computer (from Pandora or WMP or something like that).
