As most of you know, I'm now engaged, and due to have a wedding very, very soon. I knew this time was going to come, so I've been thinking long and hard about this decision. No, not about marriage, lol! About stepping down as a mod. I'm writing this post to clear up my reasons for stepping down - to the whole forum - to save any speculations or rumours.

I've enjoyed my time on the forum as a mod, even though it's only been a few months. I've met the most amazing guy, and I'd rather spend my time on those great aspects of my life. I've been able to tolerate the time that I'm on the forum, as I only come on when I want to. Being that I live on the computer, that has been all the time, anyway, and you only need to read JASR's post (http://www.isketchforum.net/showpost.php?p=97245&postcount=109) (mid way of it) for clarification, lol. But as you know, being a mod requires more time and attention, and I feel that I won't be able to give this. I will continue to post and read, though.

The other reason is that I know if I stay on the forum while I'm prepping to get married (and post marriage), then I'll have no time for iSketch at all, because when I have a responsibility, I really like to commit to it. However, I don't think I can live without iSketch. I need it daily and it's stress free for me (you know I love and need my 'newbies', lol). So whatever free time I do have, I want to spend it on iSketch. Being a mod on top would make that impossible, and at the same time, I feel I wouldn't be giving the forum enough of my time.

I know gossip will be inevitable, because I've only been a mod for a few months and I'm already stepping down. I can imagine this might be a disappointment to some, especially those that didn't want me to be a mod, but never openly said it to me. Choosing me may seem pointless now to them. Maybe others may have been more committed, but how was I supposed to know that Mr.Hunky was going to come and sweep me off my feet? lol. I hope people will understand that this wasn't an easy decision, and I've tried my best to be as realistic and honest as possible. If people are left angry about myself being chosen as a mod, and stepping down so soon, then I can only say that I really do not care in the least, I have no interest for that drama. Life is too short for that and life has its priorities, :)

I've enjoyed being a mod, I've also appreciated the help and support from members. Thank you for making it enjoyable and interesting for me.. sometimes far too interesting, lol! I can only say that I've tried my best. I know I've done an overall good job while I was able to, that's all that matters to me. I have an exciting future ahead of me. I have my wedding to plan, people! :D So.. I'm stepping down on a high :D (well, when Peter turns me back to blue. Green always did make my butt look big, lol).

You've been a great mod and the forum will miss you being there to help keep it running smoothly. Hopefully Peter will be able to find as good a replacement to stand alongside the other mods.

Noo, not tiger style outfits! Nerdy style outfits, lol! As for the date.. it's not set yet. But it will be somewhere between mid and end of October. Mr Hunky is still waiting to hear from his workplace, and we'll have to work around the days that he gets off.

It's very sad to see you go Nerdy but thank you for all your hard work over the last several weeks. You've done an excellent job and you will be missed alot! You're right though, weddings and husbands take up alot of time and to focus on them is the right thing to do :biggrin:
