Hey guys,

Just wondering if any of you know of a suitable (but not too expensive!) graphics tablet for use in iSketch? I have a 15inch widescreen laptop.

Thanks for your help!

Umm I have a Bamboo One by Wacom which is good for iSketch. It's just a basic, inexpensive one - no fancy buttons that you'd never use in iSketch anyway. I got mine for about £30 (about $46) from PC World I think but I've seen them sold for a fair bit more.

iSketch is a pretty simple thing which, as Fox says, wouldn't use any fancy features so really any tablet would be fine.

I'd recommend getting one which doesn't require a battery in the pen (should be lighter and eliminates annoyance). And if you think you'll use it for other graphics stuffs other than iSketch then it wouldn't harm to have pressure sensitivity etc. I wouldn't worry too much about the size of the tablet, small ones are fine to work with.

If you like to go for well known brands, then any Wacom should tick these boxes, even if you get the lowest spec available.

For the record, I use a Wacom Volito 2 (which I don't think is made anymore?).

My first was a Trust one, and it didn't last very long tbh...now I use a Wacom Bamboo Fun, they are pretty cheap on ebay.
Wacoms ftw imho :)

I have a wacom bamboo I bought from ebay a while back for £50, or maybe £60, I forget.

It's good for most things.

I too have a Wacom Bamboo One, which is very easy to use. I got it about 2 years ago and it's still working fine. It's also pretty durable because I've dropped the pen countless times but it hasn't broken :)

I just bought a new tablet, eeeeeee!! It's just another basic one but they're still so expensive in New Zealand *grumbles about the exchange rate*
