I thought I'd make a place on the forum to thank a mod. We all know the mods here are pretty good and most of them make me giggle too. Peter seems happy to leave this forum to them for a long time, knowing they'll do a good job. If you want to say thanks to anyone who's helped you out on .net, I thought it only fair to have a place where you can do that. The mods here, in the main, seem unappreciated. I'm sure that's not the case at all. :biggrin:

I'll start off with some thank yous, not just to current mods... but those who've been and gone to mod-posts.

I know she's 'notamod' but Vik, our now retired mod was always on the ball, always polite and matter of fact when modding. She treated everyone with respect and remained neutral through any squabbles. I'm sure a lot of people will miss her.

MsNerdinator: Took no nonesense and was the most vigilant mod I've known; she was very protective of this forum and all it's members, regardless of personal issues. I think this is sometimes easily forgotten.

Ches: Okay... the 'Flashing Blade', swoops in when we least expect it... makes us laugh, a lot, and then swoops out again. More of that! :biggrin: He's always hilarious, and fair when modding.

2.0: He called a spade a spade... those of us who he gave a telling off loved him for it. :razz: My only complaint is that he made me laugh so much I had to rethink my Tena subscription, lol.

Jiggy: Seems a lovely mod, always cheerful, and is the backbone of the always increasing non-English threads. :biggrin:

Sense/Net: Always lives up to his name. You know you will always get common sense and reason from Sense, and if he corrects you, you know you deserve it. His great sense of neutrality, like in Vik, is something I admire.

I have to say that at all times in any communication, these mods treated me with respect (well, maybe with one exception, but that made me lmao) and did their best to help. If you like this forum, and find it a fun place to be, these people are the reason why.

Thanks to Vik for being the best mod for any arcade issues. :razz:
