hi, i´m with problems makin the login. when i enter my pass it says the username is already in use but is not.Can you help me???

First of all, welcome to the forum Sol :) You are our 4000th member :biggrin:

If iSketch does not allow your username, this could happen due to 2 reasons; either it is already in use or it has been registered by another user. As you are saying that it is not in use, then I would assume that the latter is correct.

Do you get any message boxes when you try to log in?

p.s. Unless your username is registered, a password is not necessary.

And.. I did a /find on iSketch... are you the sol in Spanish 14?

If yes, your problem is solved.
If no, the name is already in use.

but i´ve been playing with this username and it was registered by me.... just today the message box appear... i don´t know why....

According to that message unfortunately someone has used your username. There is no way around this for now except by choosing an alternative name or waiting until the other "sol" leaves the iSketch server.

The name has not been registered by yourself because someone else can use it and you do not have to enter a password.
If it was registered by you, then you would be required to enter a password.
If it was registered by someone else, you would get a message saying something like, "This username has been registered. Please enter the correct password or select a different username."

Edit: Registrations have been a sticky topic, if you read some of the threads here, but you could always email Feedback (info@isketch.net) for more information on registering a username.

The name can't be registered by you. I think you mean that you put that name in and have been using it ever since, and it comes up whenever you go to log onto the game.

Because the name isn't actually properly registered (with a password), it means anyone is able to log in under that name. So sometimes you'll find someone will come along with the name 'Sol' and log in with it, and you happen to come along too after and want to log in with it, as well. It will then tell you that the name is already in use. You can change the name or add to it until that person logs off.

The Google Friend Connect thing below iSketch has nothing to do with the actual game really. It is separate. If you register there you will not be registered on iSketch.

Yes and equally you can log on with anybody's username. If don't like that well you could always spice up your name with some numbers ;) to make it a bit harder for someone to randomly take it.

Yes. When you get onto the isketch home screen or whatever it is, where it says username and password, you just type in a different username... :)

Um yehhh. Delete the name that is already there in the username box then type in a new oneeeee :)

Just to sum all of this up into one post and hopefully make it all a little clearer.

This is correct, only admins and registered users require a password.

If you are a normal user on iSketch:
1. You can have any username that you like, provided it is not being used by anyone else or it hasn't been registered by an admin or registered users. If this is the case the relevant message box will appear before you.
2. You do not need to enter a password and can change your username as often as you like to anything you like, again provided it is not being used and also your username must be 12 characters or less.
3. You cannot register your own name by using Google Friend Connect as it is a separate thing to iSketch.
4. You are very unlikely to get your name registered, as this registration is only being trialled as far as I know.
