I appeared to have a very slow connection today, to the point of missing entire drawing rounds. So I pinged my own username and I got a ping well over 10,000 ms (which is abnormally high). Even if I ping someone on the other side of the world, the ping usually is only around 400 ms.

I asked around, and other people were experiencing abnormally slow connections.

It was because the server was being restarted/crashing. It happens from time to time!

Lololol, you shoulda seen some of alessies pings before he moved... Ahhh those were the days :P

Yeah, his pings were several minutes at a time just like yours Hippo. I think his highest was about 700,000 ms, but I can't verify it though :P
