I was told in an email that they'd be gone temporarily but I've still not had them return. All I did was press it to see what would happen, I didn't want to cause any harm or anything =/

We very recently had someone asking about the same thing... Well they hadn't emailed feedback but yeah. :)

I'm unsure how long it takes for them to return if you've lost them due to a misdemeanor. However if feedback has told you that they will return, then I guess you'll just have to be patient - they should come back eventually!

There is no harm in asking Zenus but patience is indeed the key. If feedback says they will return, they will eventually return. The link Sors posted should be some use. This advice is from my point of view and does not mean its offically the view of iSketch and admins..just advice by how I see things on Isk! =)) With that out of the way....

To reiterate:
*it takes time to gain votes. There is a reason it is set up that way. Just be patient. PATIENCE is very important in all things iSketch =))))

*Play fair and vote fair. Be careful how you vote and for what reason. If you choose the wrong option, you WILL lose your vote privileges and it will take longer and longer to regain them. Vote privs are EARNED and you MUST care for them if you appreciate them and want to keep isketch clean and fun for all!

*When in doubt about HOW to vote and for what reason, ask away to someone in the room that you know to be a long time player or seems mature and knoweldgeable. If you know and admin, do not be afraid to ask politely and fully in one message if possible. If admin does not answer, keep in mind..THAT WE ARE VERY BUSY and do not mean to ignore. We do often do our best to answer questions as permitted..especially to those that are serious about being good and responsible iSketch players! Just cuz we do not answer right away..does notmean you have fallen on deaf ears! WE are multitaskers extrordinaires and usually have lots and lots to do! Be patient and remember, we are human too. =))

* Some people, in the rush to vote, think they click on a certain reason but it goes to another option due to internet lag, time, not really seeing where the cursor lands!
BE VERY CAREFUL how you utilise the feature and be sure it is the reason you really WANT. Too many times I've seen ppl lose the vote button for clicking on the wrong thing accidentally! AND there is not much we admins can do for it! CARE CARE CARE! IF admin asks you to clarify, please do so in a polite and matter of fact manner. We are just trying to figure out exactly WHY the vote was cast and HOW to properly proceed. If you are not sure if it is admin asking, just answer politely and matter of factly. You never know who it is you are speaking to! (besides, treat others as you would like to be treated as well....)

* If it seems way too long and you do not gain your privs, then see about contacting feedback THEN. Do not bombard feedback right away. By right away I mean at minimum ..give it a WEEK (7 days) or more depending on how often you play. (this is just ballpark honestly. it could take a little longer. I would be patient..if you happen to know an admin and you do not bombard them with all sorts of stuff, ask kindly for advice) Feedback is constantly bombarded by all sorts of requests, questions, problems. You MUST give an adequate amount of time and TIME IN PLAY to see if your privs return naturally. AND do not email feedback OVER and OVER if you do not get a response right away should you choose to email it. This just will delay the time it will take to get YOU and everyone else with other legitimate questions...a timely response!
