I had a subway on my lunch break today; Italian BMT (clearly the best). Meatball Marinara is probably just as good, but I have it less often for some reason.

The people who work there always look at me oddly for getting either no salad or only jalepenos. Lettuce etc has no place on any type of bread. End.

Lolski, I'd try the meaty ones but I can't stand the dry texture of meat. It's like tofu. o.O

But Sweet Chicken Teriyaki sounds sooo yumm. Idk. Lol. Deffy won't be trying anything with tuna in it coz tuna's cat food >_<

I eat subway soo often (I take away a sub for dinner) that the people at the store know me, and they're like ahh yes the veggie steak. xD lol.

I wanna work at Subway! And I was telling someone the other day, I wanna do a Super Size me thing like the guy did with McDonald's but with Subway... now if only they'd sponsor me coz I can't afford to eat Subway three times a day! XD

That was an easy vote for me. Teriyaki all the way!

Don't hurt me... I don't like deli sandwiches.

My favorite is the meatball sub... that's the only one I ever get with no green stuff added to it. I once tried a chicken breast thingy, but they put goop on it that I don't care for. I maybe get a Subway sandwich about twice a year.

As far as a real Subway system... Madrid was especially easy, and surprisingly clean.

One footling Subway Melt on Monterrey cheddar bread please with lettuce, tomato, black olives, banana peppers, heavy onions, mustard and heavy mayo. Thats my favourite at Subway... however, Subway is not my favourite sub shop. Subways meat is highly processed as well as skimpy on the sandwich. (Not that I go to sub shops frequently... )Quiznos meat is of higher quality and they have about 2 -3 times more meat than subway. Even the little neighbourhood mom & pop sub shop called Sub Station is way better than subway. For me, Subway is a last resort, unless they are having a special sale then I dont mind buying a couple to last me through a few meals. And lets face it, its fast food and most fast food is junk food. You dont have to agree, its just me opinion. [-)

It's fast food, but I don't know if I'd actually call it junk food. I don't know about the quality of meat and how fattening/unhealthy it is at Subway (I know they do something to their turkey breasts), but I think the veggie options are actually prettyyyy healthy. Lucky for me I'm vegetarian so I don't get tempted by the meat subs.

If you make a salad out of a 6 inch sub though (as in, take out the bread), it counts for 2 of your 5 a day recommended portion of fruit and veg. So I figure, eat 1 subway salad, eat a banana in the morning, an orange for tea, have something decently healthy for dinner and hey presto, eating healthy isn't so hard after all. Doesn't sound like much, but I find it reaaaaallly difficult to reach the minimum amount every day, esp with veggies  so subway is a good way of getting there... *whistles innocently*

Anyway, I think the veg ones are pretty healthy...although prob not as delish as the meat ones.

Guess it also depends on the sauce though, I thought Asiago was pretty innocent until I found out cheese was an important ingredient in it, gah. I think Honey Mustard might be the healthiest sauce. Hmm.

Yay, a jalapeno fan! :D I like the salad. I always like a lot on it, to be honest. But when buying it, I definitely ask for extra jalapenos, all the time :) Even on pizzas. lol.

I don't eat at Subway often, but when I do, I get the turkey. I always put it on Italian bread. I agree that toasted tastes better.

lol, superman, I mean Subway <click here> (http://www.subway.co.uk/) the sandwich company

They don't offer coleslaw at Subway, lol. If you've not been to Subway yet, you should try it ;)

Oh, and toasted does taste better! I tried the veggie patty without cheese today (going healthy), on Avoine et Miel (Oat and Honey?) with Honey Mustard sauce, and it wasn't that good....

BTW, Jared Fogle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jared_Fogle) went on a diet of a 6 inch turkey sub in the morning, a fizzy drink and bag of chips for lunch, and a footlong veggie sub for dinner, and went from 193 kg to 109 kg! o.O Of course, he walked around more as well, and ate nothing else at all, and didn't get cheese or any of the sauces on his subs, but hey... nice. Glad to hear a Subway diet can be slimming. I guess it's not hard to slim down on a diet like that coz they're just sandwiches after all, but daaaang, I love their bread. Soft baguettes! Whee!

I tried it without sauce/dressing once.. and it was too dry for me :|
What I do always have without fail now is the chili sauce on it :D <3

Get some sweet honey mustard low-calorie dressing from Asda and throw it on. Always brightens up salad, in a subway or on a plate :)

Italian B.M.T is obviously the best. With cheese, sweetcorn and ketchup. Also toasted. Hihi sweet bliss.

Ps. Italian herbs and cheese ^_________^

Easily Italian BMT. No pepper or sauce. I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like sauce with many things. And if there's one place sauce doesn't belong, it's on bread.

Can't really beat a Veggie Delite with melted old english cheese, all salads, sweet chilli, caesar and pepper on a toasted Italian Herbs and Cheese bun.

Soup (shttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/oomacr.gifp) n. Lt. Soupius forbreadius. A liquid sauce of varying flavours and consistencies designed specifically for bread. Straight up, guv'nor.

Tomato Ketchup (tumartoe ketchuppppppp) n. It. Cheesio Toastio Saucio A sauce made predominantly from tomatoes, often poured on chips but specifically designed as a sauce for toasted bread and cheese. For real. Innit.
