This incident took place just a few minutes ago while playing Isketch:
[removed]
Hopefully you guys can actually read it. A few minutes later I was booted without being notified for how long, which I think is wrong. No wonder why I think ADMINS SUCK.
If this is the attitude that admins are gonna use towards players well then I hope Isketch players will stop playing as there's no use for it.
Since **** recommends me to play another game, I recommend to everyone to try out InkLink, it's a great game just like Isketch. Also try out Yahoo! Graffiti.
So...what you think?
**** shouldn't be an admin.

Hey there Mathyou and welcome to the forum :)
As you may or may not be aware, this forum is not officially affiliated with iSketch itself and we do have a no admin naming policy here.
Admins do have to have a good reason to kick a player out, but if you wish to make an official complaint I would suggest that you use Feedback (info@isketch.net). We do have a few admins on this forum, but here they cannot do anything to help.
I would recommend e-mailing them as much information as possible such as screenshots, your IP address, and any other relevant information so that Feedback can take any appropriate action needed.
Take care out there :)

you won't get far mathyou.
I heard the owner has an alert feature for when banned IPs try logging in and these also include similar IPs to those which are banned.
this happened to someone and they got a block because they used another window to log in, therefore having 2 connections -which correct me if Im wrong, is not a bootable offence - and this kept alerting the owner and he kept disconnecting up to a point that he then decided to block the person for an unspecified amount of time.
And no, this person didn't have a ban against them but likely to have been a similar IP to a banned IP
there also seems to be a cockiness of admin bleating out usernames which are previously logged on the game and try to match these to current users if a situation arises in a room. so any name that you do use is then logged and checked and if an admin doesn't like you then they'll try to mention your information in the hope of getting some denial or response to make you feel at unease which doesn't work

I like the subject of the thread. "Why **** SHOULD be an admin..." It's 7:12 AM over here, and I'm scratching my head, "I could have sworn that **** WAS an admin...?"
Then I stumbled into this morass of a thread, ha ha ha.
Guys please do not name Admin's. This forum has an active policy against the naming of Admin's as some Admin's do not wish to be named.

That's lame...
How are supposed to say which admin is being a jerk towards players then?

Mathyou, On a point of order... You just thanked me for reporting some unscrupilous person who signed up solely for the purpose of spamming us all!.. Just who do you think I reported that to.. a donkey? Without someone to hold the fort, we wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

I'm wouldn't be surprised if donkeys are reading the e-mails...

I think Mathyou's point is more that he'd like better people to "hold the fort", not nobody.
While most admins are adequate, I agree with his comments on the one in question here, and have done for well over a year or two.
I even thought about e-mailing feedback about them myself once, but didn't bother. :)

Overall, the admins do a really good job of keeping isketch fun and friendly. It's not an easy task and they create a lot of unwarranted enemies because of the position they're in.
Now whether the admin in question did abuse their power is another story, but I think that we need to remember to remain respectful and realize the amount of time, effort, and work the admins of isketch put in to make it a better community. (As well as the admins who run this forum).

Correct, and I think that the people doing the most harm to the overall admin reputation are the admins who ARE bad (and yes, they do exist), not the players that complain about them.
OK this thread is getting out of hand fast.
Time to close.
