Yeah eh? apparently it's blue.
To canadians out there, i'm not sure if you see these outside of ontario, but this should be enough for those who know: "nobody beats the brick".

Is that because of the adverts themselves or is that the usual male "omg, if I hear anything about female reproductive system I'll go blind"?
I also can't stand the Cillit Bang or Sheila's wheels. I'm also hating the whole of T-Mobile's new advert campaign and the orange broadband one. It drives me insane

Never understood the fuss.
All they seem to do is go out and play tennis in tight white shorts, or go cycling. And when that's all finished they have to go around a pour blue stuff on things.

I have you know Faceache that they won't put on a KY advert for Boomerang or Nickleodean... but they will put them on Intellectual Channels such as History, UK Documentary, Hallmark and Living TV

Hallmark happens to have plenty of reruns of House on it Faceache... but then again... you wouldn't know that - would you
Back on topic: An irritating advert for me has to be all the kid's toys ones... if I had a pound for everytime my little one says "I want that... I want that"

I can't bear that advert where that stoopid woman rings "picture" for a loan and in the background the dad ends up falling over the kids bike....
....or the chip advert using the chips glorious chips tune...5% fat etc....
....and shelia's wheels....
....and.. and, god there's loads..
....but I did like the Rustlers one where the bloke microwaves the dull girl for 70 secs and she turns into a tasty date...that made me chuckle

I forgot about the chips one.
One I adore: the penguin persil one with that cute iccle girl. My god, she's the cutest little kid in town.
Just seen it, the return of that creme egg advert, you know - the one where they sing My Way

I was going to say the Frosties ad before the "Sheilas' Wheels" ad was mentioned. I absolutely despise it because it stereotypes all men as bad drivers and then shows a bunch of 'Sheilas' driving without seatbelts on and their hands of the wheel!
As for Cillit Bang it doesn't annoy me just makes me laugh. Along with e-sure's original Michael Winner one, Sir Alan Sugars NS&I ones, the confused.com one ("ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! does searching for car insurence drive you crazy?!") and finaly the Polaris World one which had Jack Nicklaus in it really made me laugh.

The geico commercials are starting to annoy me a little... they're getting repetative and corny..
Here the worst was during the world cup, a radio advert with actos pretending to be Jurgen Klinsman talking to his wife who sounded exactly like Miss Piggie. She said 'I love you Jurgie' and he said 'i di au' in a very very annoying voice.. argh!

I hate that "mastication for the nation advert" at first I thought it said "masturbation":embarrassed::embarrassed:
I also hate all these finance adverts, no wonder people are in so much debt if all we have to do is pick up a phone and ask for £25,000 and they give it to us straight away, no questions asked.

commercials are what are show on television to advertise a product/company etc
an advertisement is what is used in a publication i.e newspaper magazine etc,
however us brits do tend to say adverts for televison commercials.
