I think Alexandra is amazing and will be successful even if she doesn;t win the show. ....which i think she won't.
My vote went for Eoghan because i read somewhere that he was beating everyone in the voting polls EVERY week by miles. Plus he's 16 and got a baby face.....which is sure to pull nearly all the oldies.

To be honest i think the x factor is getting worse every year.....not because of the singers....but because of the judges.
They all think it's about them and have their own little feuds and never really think about the singers themselves.
For example on Saturday, when Danni was crying over song song choice feud with Louis.....she was only thinking about herself. The whole way through that i was thinking......"HELLO!....your act is standing right in front of you after her performance....talk about that! Praise her!!!"

PLus i hate the way they introduce teh judges at the start. I swear about 10mins of the show just goes on them walking onto the stage. It's like they are gods or something! Oh and i also hate Louis!!

I liked her U2 one.

My favourite was Austin. He had real vocal ability. It's a shame he got voted out so early but I hope he gets something out of this.

I did like JLS's version of "Umbrella".
Simon was right.....it was either gonna be stupid or brilliant.....and it was brilliant!

Although the majority of Simon's comments seem nasty, can actually be quite true.
He did comment about Diana Vickers being like marmite, that you either like her style or you don't.

I knew Alexandra would win! Though i think i secretly wanted JLS to win.

It was quite funny i thought when she was trying to talk afterwards and Dermot was trying to get a word out of her.
And then on Xtra factor when Holly was talking to her......it was like she was possessed or something......very funny!!

But well done to her, she is an amazing singer and her duet with Beyonce was awesome!

I like Jeff Buckley's version :biggrin: Much more mellower and not belting it out like Alexandra is.

Hmm, there are a lot of covers of the song, but I don't think that anyone could do it as well as my mate, the deeply sexual Leonard Cohen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQiwT1U00uQ&feature=related), did it. Tigeress, you don't get much mellower than Cohen. :) hehe. But I think that Rufus Wainwright did a more than decent job, his cover is very good. :) The X Factor version, I kind of agree too, not so much. :S
