Haven't seen this done for some time so thought id start a thread on the worst TV adverts at the moment....

Those bloody "Quote me happy!" commercials are annoying. I mean, as if! I bet if I rang them up and said "quote me happy", they'll think "what a bloody tosser." Actually, come to think of it, I bet they get A LOT of people saying that to them. That'd be soooo annoying. :twisted:

Oh my God... I've just remembered the WORST. ADVERT. EVER. That Norton Finance one, with that guy who's walking the tightrope. ARGH! He's struggling at first with lot's of boxes and eventually falls off onto some netting, and then he goes back up again, this time carrying a Norton Finance box, and he's walking back and to, and he's there showing us that it's so easy with Norton Finance.... and when the camera zooms in on him, and he has that stupid, annoying smirk on his face... but that's not all, my friends... at the end, he's leaning on this big stick, and he slips and nearly falls off, and then again with the stupid, annoying smirk right across his face!! This has to be the worst advert, ever. :twisted:

"Knock off Nigel" advert. This is a Government advert about piracy, however, this is not mentioned in the advert nor is there a website link. They think people will google this advert on the net and then take serious notice of it. I couldn't understand that, Saffron! What language was it?? Was that Australian? And the "Knock-Off Nigel" ad was kinda funny.

I can't think of any bad commercials right now (besides the cheap car dealer ones), but I'll think of some and YouTube 'em later. :)

There are some adverts that are obviously made in a different country that have been really badly dubbed. The audible words don't match up to the lip patterns of the non-audible words.

That DFS advert with the Rockstar song is STILL ON! My mum said to me last week after I complained about it again 'Don't worry, the sale ends on Monday so you wont see it again.' It's now Thursday and it's still there being annoying.

Yeah, the Geico commercials are so weird... Years ago, when they started off as anything but a Geico commercial, and then turned into a Geico commercial, I actually liked them because they were funny and unexpected. Now they've changed their style and the caveman was funny for a while, but got old, and they changed it again... and now they just look really cheap to me. The last Geico commercial I saw featured a guy dressed up in a gecko costume.

I remember I wrote something bad in my ACT essay section and got a perfect score on it, but I'm not going to say what it was about. eHarmony woulda been funny, though!

My worst advert on TV are Food Adverts at night! Picture yourself watching television way past midnight, and all they show is food adverts in between programs or shows. o_o Or picture yourself watching a late night film, after that film is a food advert. Makes you hungry eh! What's worst is that you can't go get that food in the middle of the night! Almost every store should be closed by then. lol Just by typing this in thought makes me hungry now :$
