Bonjour i'm french so first of all, excuse me for my pityful english...
When i discovered iSketch i found it really good and helpful (i ever been bad in orthographe), so i became a FAN and... and... I bought a graphic tablet So i thought that a good advertising could be with graphic tablet sellers, like Wac... what do you think about that ? ![]()

Sounds like a bloody good idea.
I got hooked on iSketch and within weeks went and got myself a drawing tablet. I don't know that the big names would advertise iSketch on their sites - but they could do something like : "....as used by iSketch players around the world..." Maybe they would consider a sponsorship deal? Perhaps someone could pass this idea onto Rob for his edification?

I have to agree. I bought a graphics tablet some years ago but hadn’t used it for a long time until I discovered iSketch. Trying to draw with a mouse is very difficult!

Whenever I see you JASR you're on away so to me your drawings will be a massive improvement!

I succumbed and got a tablet a couple of weeks ago too... I never found my touchpad remotely difficult to use but tablet is generally faster. I don't think my drawings have improved at all since buying it (nor did I expect them to).
Mouse still sucks though - touchpads FTW. |

I bought a Wacom Bamboo, about 80 bux after shipping. it's a small thing but it makes drawing much more fun. didnt make me an instant artist tho as i was hoping it did but sure makes drawing a lot more fun. i think wac and iske should definitely work together. they could definitely benifit greatly from one another.

I'm a novice when it comes to computers. I thought I'd outsmart all of the systems when i used a stylus to draw on my laptop's touchpad. Instant tablet! Nope Instant embarassment.....

I've never seen one, but it wouldn't actually surprise me if they existed.

Until just now the only ones I'd ever read about were DIY jobs, but this seems to be one:
To the magical orbified electrical stylus: I think the tip of a stylus is too narrow to be capable of touchpad thingyness, hence why the pictured one is a big stupid blunt thing. (You can use an AA battery as a pen for touchpad but it's just horrible) Last edited by NoHints; 31-12-2007 at 03:09 AM. |
