"Hurry up or you'll be late!" Scott's mom said, dragging his backpack down the floor. "Your gonna be late for school"
Scott opened his eyes only to see the bright light of the morning sun, and the groggy feeling in his eyes when he woke up. He got up slowly but felt an enormous, unbearable pain in his head that made him instantly put his head down in his pillow.
"Scott! Hurry!" His mom yelled. Only to make his head hurt more. She ran upstairs.
"Scott get up!" He could only stare at her. If he talked his head would probably explode.
"Oh honey you don't look to good..."
She went over to feel his head. Once she put her hand on his head he screamed in pain, just making his head hurt more.
"Uh oh. this looks serious." His mom said. "Scott stay in bed I'm going to call an ambulance over."
10 minutes later an ambulance came and rushed Scott over to the hospital. His mom, waiting in the lobby crying and worried over her son is a little bit relieved to see the doctor.
"Mrs. Anderson..."
"Yes"
"Your son has a brain tumor... We will have to do surgery to remove it..."
She burst our crying. Every tear was a tear for her son going through the same pain she was going through.
"Ok. Do what you must" She said.
The doctor nodded and turned around.
"Prep this kid for brain surgery" The surgeon nodded and walked away.
------Two Hours Later During surgery------

"Ok I'm going to make the first incision" The surgeon said.
He took the scalpel in gently put it in Scott's head. Once all the cutting was done they looked at the tumor. Covered by blood and other fluids the take the scalpel and begin removing it.
The put the scalpel on the tumor and then...
"Uh oh" the surgeon said...

Many things can go wrong in the line of a doctor. But I leave this up to you.

Dude, I want Scott to live. How old is Scott? did you write this yourself?
As much I want him to live, if you're going to complete this story then maybe Scott should die. Most stories have a happy ending but in reality many do not and I think they tend to be forgotten, so for that reason I vote Scott will end up dying. Sorry

lol that doesn't make you look evil AJ. But even though AJ listed really, really, really good reason, I think I'll vote for Scott to live ;P. Although part of me feels some literary deaths should have happened that didn't (Harry Potter...) I just don't feel like the kid should croak. Yet.

And such a short story hardly creates suspense. You don't give us time to get into Scott's world

I'm guessing that depending on our decision, the original writer will add more to the story, thus making it longer and more detailed as time goes on.

My prediction is that he would live. He's just an innocent child...And God wouldn't let him die so easily xD And perhaps a miracle would happen somehow :) I've read stories like these and usually if something funny happens it will continue funny >< I can't be sure though :)
