Hi all

Well for the first time in ages I went onto isketch last night and I don't know if it's because it's been so long but the game just doesn't appeal any more.

There was a time when I was one of those players who can get a word after seeing less than two lines drawn (and often get accusations of cheating due to such speedy guesses) but really there is just no attraction for me to play any longer. Last night I was like "what?" at just about everything I saw drawn, leaving me looking dumb and confused. And everyone was in "secret" different names, what was that all about?

Since I am also more of a member on TVFunspot http://www.tvfunspot.com/forums/regi...referrerid=925 my attendance here is also going downhill and so I guess it's bye-bye time

It's been fun times most of the time, and I'll keep in touch via PMs to all those interested in Baby Deadlock, due at the end of November.

Paha. Right, now I feel guilty after viewing this thread quite a few times and you being online and me being online and me not saying anything.

I just hope everything goes well for you. :) It's sad you're leaving the forums, especially if it's because of isk... :P because yeah half the people on here don't even play isk much anymore... -shrugs-

But yeah I hope everything goes well and baby deadlock comes out nice and healthy etc. :) And if you're still going to be around via pms atleast it's not a complete goodbye. :)

You have mentioned previously that you have outgrown the forum, but still hung around, so maybe it's just a passing feeling? There are many people here who like you being around, and would miss you.
Personally I think you are a grumpy old turd (even if you would make for an interesting night out on the town) but then again, I say the same thing about Mr Saff, so don't take it too badly
You'll be back though, when someone beats your pacman score.......

That's true, I've had time off from the forum and always wandered back, but this feels like an end of something as I don't have the enthusiasm for it any more. There are hardly any real posts unless you count the number of "omfg wth i got banned" threads and the odd game that is kept alive now and then.

This wasn't a thread to get people to beg me to stay, just wanted to let anyone interested know that I was probably not going to be on any more. I have my notifications set to email me of any PMs so obviously will be doing the polite thing and getting back to people, perhaps I should update my profile to include my email addy so I can cut this middleman bit out altogether.

BTW yes I am a grumpy turd. Its what makes me happy

And I almost agree with Saff about your Pacman score, but I'd change the word "when" to "if"

Well, I only just got to know you a little bit, but I'm glad to know you're still going to be kicking around via pm's. I know what you mean though about losing enthusiasm for isk. I go through very short stints in the summer months of playing, but that's about it. Once fall comes around, everything else in life speeds up and the e-communities are the first things to go most of the time. Plus, with a newborn on the way, you aren't going to have time for much of anything, so it's probably good you're weaning yourself off now (not that it is really that much weaning, apart from the forum)!

Heh, I can understand why you want to leave. Sometimes I've been going through spells like that myself. I left iSketch for like.. 2 years.. then randomly popped up again, and now I think I'm bored of it again O_O I can't get addicted to it like I once was. The forum was my main crave after I joined :P Even then, I find myself sometimes not actually wanting to come to the forum, but I seem to drag myself here O_o and then I wonder why.. lol. I really feel like I'm time wasting when I could be doing something far better. Like getting a proper hobby, hehe.

Who knows though, if we try for another baby or had another baby, then I'd more than likely leave the forum altogether.

Trust me.. when your little fella comes, you'll lose the enthusiasm for the forum, and perhaps even completely! Having a baby is just the most amazing thing in the world. Anyways, good luck with it all and I can't wait to hear about the details in November :D *hugs to Mrs Deadlock too!*

Thought I'd share the good news with everybody. The firm I work for has gone bust, and I'm officially made redundant. Just in time for Christmas and the birth of my first son.

BUT, it isn't the end of the world, I promise you...BF has been made redundant many times now, something always comes up.

I always believe you don't have to have the most money in the world to enjoy your baby or spoil them. Fear not. He'll make you forget all about it and something will come your way. If not, you'll find a way to work around it :) For now, just focus on the baby coming :)

Btw, why have you turned your PM settings off? That or you've excluded me, in which case.. that's RUDE! I tried sending you a message a few days ago :(

He's a very relaxed baby but they say caesarians tend to be that way. Very interested in things. Got my hairline and chin, her nose and ears, blue eyes which we both have, and my frown lol ...

I am starting his training next week - he is not a Pacmaster yet ...
