What TV programmes do you watch?

I'm sure we all have some programmes we like following, whether for entertainment, knowledge, a mix of both, or something else. What programmes do you follow?

It can be TV, radio, or even on youtube.

You first! :)

Hmm, I'm thinking that the only ones which I watch avidly are The Apprentice, Lost and Heroes. There are others which I like and will watch, but they're the only ones where I feel that I have to see an episode if I miss it and such. Umm, oh and I try to watch anything with Thouis Leroux (de-doo-de-doo), I like his things. And yeah, there's nothing on now but when Derren Brown has things on, I've opted to stay in just to watch him in the past. :) There'll be other programmes too but I can't think of any. I do think it's funny how televisions are like the focus of most living rooms, chairs pointing towards and such, and how much time they spend switched on, but somehow they always seem unloved.
* Fox apologises to, and hugs, the veletisions.

I like my Desperate Housewives and Heroes. :) I've been watching The Apprentice recently, and also I really do enjoy watching Britains Got Talent. :) But I don't try and watch them on time as much. I can just watch them later, and I'm not too bothered if I miss a week.
But Desperate Housewives (Which must be near the end of this series xD ahaha Weird scary blonde man must die before the series ends though.. not that he will but yah.) And Heroes. (OH MAN SO GOOD! :) hee hee. And I enjoy my conversations with Fox afterwards about Heroes :) )

I also used to listen to the radio every sunday, usually for the top 40, then followed later at night by the surgery which can be quite interesting :) But I haven't been upstairs as much recently. :)

Ah, yeah, the Sorsie-Fox Heroes discussions are an important part of the Heroes viewing experience. :P Perhaps more so than the programme itself. Could possibly even ditch the programme and just have the discussion. :P

Gawd, I bet those sessions are intense

As for my television taste, I don't really watch anything avidly any more.
I tend to watch serial dramas like The Bill, Casualty and Holby City when they're on the television, as well as programmes like Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor that are only on at particular times of the year. I also occasionally watch documentaries and have recently got into watching The Apprentice thanks to you lovely people :)
I used to be quite a big fan of Big Brother but kinda lost interest when I couldn't watch it every evening. I wasn't so into it to watch the live feeds, I'd only watch the 9/10pm round-up show.

The only programme I watch regularly is Eastenders. I'll watch something interesting if it's on TV or iPlayer and I like watching the classic comedies like Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, Frasier. Oh and I watch Hustle when it's on. I started watching Heroes but then I missed some episodes and never caught up with the series again :(... should do that soon!

+ Sports (football, F1, rugby union, snooker, tennis) if they count!

Everything I watch is either on iPlayer or Youtube... (YAY!)

In no particular order...

British:

Friday Night with Jonathan Ross - can't miss an episode. He alwaysss has someone I want to watch on. <3 Jonathon Woss
Snog, Marry, Avoid? - dear God. Lol. This is a guilty pleasure xD Shh.
Eastenders - It just grows on you... and I love the drama xD
Natural World - just recently got into it after watching David Attenborough in one of the epi's. Anything to do with animals (esp wild ones) is great fun to watch :D
My Life As An Animal - funny xD
Horse People With Alexandra Tolstoy - yay horses
The Apprentice UK
Whatever happened to Dog Borstal? I really liked that

American:

America's Next Top Model - fun fun fun! Youtube ftw.
Ugly Betty, Seinfeld, Desperate Housewives - I looove these, but I don't watch them anymore, because the website I was watching them on stopped updating working links. Boo :(

That'sss it. I don't listen to the radio.

I don't watch any German TV at all. We watch DVDs of American TV shows, LOST, Heroes, Desperate Housewives, 24 mostly, although others sometimes worm their way in, like Prison Break.

We generally get box sets and watch a particular series from start to finish, and then move onto another one. I guess we spend on average about 5 hours a week in front of the TV, watching box sets, or movies. We never have the TV on other than when we're actually sitting down watching it.

Like Fox, I find it interesting how the TV is often the center of a room with the chairs pointed at it instead of towards each other. Ideally, it would be nice to have a TV room, and a separate sitting room because I do find it quite unsociable. I think in our new house, we'll have the TV in a cupboard, hidden away except for when it's being used. I grew up in a noisy house where the TV was always on and now I just can't stand it. I'd be just as happy if we didn't have one at all.

Sometimes I have the radio on, especially when I am doing the housework. No particular show, just whatever's on at the time. I get my news from the internet.

I don't watch that many shows on tv these days... rather catchup on lineee when I can.
I watchh LOST, the Apprentice, Peep Show and Heroes... (I think Hereos is laughably bad though >_> I don't know why I still watch ittt). Andd I like Come Dine With Me!
Alsoo I was re-watching the Wire since the BBC started to show it. It is actually the best TV series I've ever seen, the writing and acting is soo gooood and satisfying and realistic. I would really really really recommend it on DVD (Y)

I'm currently in love with 24, House, and Fringe. I occasionally watch that new show Lie To Me, which is also pretty good.

ohh and True Blood is a really cool series, I just recently watched season one online and season two will be airing in June is the US. *sigh* I love vampires. ;)

I was going to post here, until I realised that I don't watch much television at all, so it was pointless me posting here.

I then decided all that was worth posting about :)

Those shows like Prison Break and Heroes I've wanted to get into just because lots of people have recommended them to me. I like watching supernatural shows on TV.
I used to watch LOST; I really got into the first series and the first few episodes were damned brilliant (Y). For me though it's kinda dragged on a bit and I lost interest near the end of series 1. Someone told me that apparently the cast aren't "lost" any more, which imo defeats the object of the show.
I also used to watch Ugly Betty but something seemed to stop me watching that. It was probably revision/exams and I never did get back into it.

When I'm into a tv show I watch it quite 'religiously'. However, Things like Lost, ER, 24, Desperate Housewives and possibly a few others I've stopped watching because they got dull and just took the mick; they run for too long and it's hard to keep track of them. Although, in my defense, that Sky One Vs VM thing with Lost is what threw me off. Losers.

Shows like House, Grey's antomy, ER, Casualty, Holby City I watch because they're all medical related and that's just a personal interest I have. Also CSI but I've stopped watching all the named American dramas because I just lost track of where I stopped watching them .
ER started getting rubbish but I got hooked on Prison Break when Season 11/13(?) of ER started. I am watching the last few episodes of ER though because it has the oldies coming back :D Carter, Benton, Doug Ross, Carol and whoever else

Psych's hilarious, as is Monk (both produced by the same people iirc) and I watch them on and off or when I'm able to catch up on them. Ugly Betty's also one I love.

Tru calling was good but they axed that. Losers. It was just getting good!!

You got me excited for a moment there, I thought I had a fellow Supernatural fan, but no, it's just supernatural-like shows you enjoy :(
Which of course brings me onto Supernatural. It's been running for 4 seasons and I *think* I just watched the season 4 finale. Dunno when season 5 starts but they better be filming still, I don't want it to suddenly be axed otherwise I'd have been hooked for nothing I just watched the seasons' funny moments and I think it's quite sad that I can remember all the clips they showed I'm telling you, there's some BRILLIANT writers working on that show.

Other shows I watch which are British: The Apprentice, Freaky Eaters, My family, After you've gone, (not so) Live at the Apollo, The Wright Stuff, Top gear, Come dine with me, All of Gordon Ramsay's things and Jamie Oliver's. Also factual documentaries. Maybe some one off things depending on the topic. But yeah, factual things shown on the BBC and Channel 4 ftw. There's so much more I can't think of.

As for Radio: LBC 97.3 which reminds me, that row between Frank Lampard anf James O'Brien was epic. The whole thing :o
