I got my voting privies taken away last night :( as i clicked on a reason the mouse slipped and missed but i had already clicked "vote".
It now says my privies have been taken away for not giving a valid reason!
how can i get this back? i have already played over 10 games and nothing

Much the same happend to me hun, just keep playing and it will return in time.
Ans to be honest not haveing the vote feature still enables you to play isketch just the same, so dont worry play the game and enjoy babe.
I think being without the vote privilage for a time is good for us, it makes us remember, the game and not the kick/ vote power

Eugh... gotta disagree! When I have to reimage this system and I go back to newbie status it makes my blood boil if I can't vote on a cheesehead breaking the rules. Especially if 2 others have voted and no one else can/will.

I totally agree with that. Thankfully I've only been a newbie twice. But the second time was so difficult. I was in a room with two racist people and couldn't do anything about it. They were even drawing pictures full of racism. Worse still, no one else was booting them out of the room :| Thankfully, I found an admin though, a while later, but they still managed to take care of the situation :)

It's quite amusing reaching for the triangle out of habit and seeing that it's not there, heh.

yes it's very annoying, two people ganged up on me last night for no reason when it happened and i couldn't do anything about it :(

An admin (wrongfully) took away my voting privelages because I tried to vote off someone for drawing something that had nothing to do with the word (I managed to guess it before). Will I ever get them back?

Yes i agree thats annoying but it really dont bother me 2 much, i still just play on.

If you managed to guess it before, the drawing either had something to do with the word, or you were cheating. So if you guessed a word then i really cant see how you can vote that the drawing was unrelated.

ok, here's the story
I missed the last word before that and I wrote "damn it"
The word turned out to be dam
The artist was completely off
I voted
Admin took away privelages

Anyway I got them back so all is well

Oh, that's what happened. No worries, it happens a lot when we type things unrelated to guessing, in the game box (so we have to be careful). I've done it quite a few times myself, and I find that it doesn't actually give the artist enough time to draw what they're drawing, especially if it's a hard word like dam. Maybe a colour would be easier. So voting to skip them is unfair (since it's the guesser's fault really).

They were probably trying their best in the small amount of time they had because you guessed it just as they started drawing. It is something to be careful about. I know that when I'm the artist and it happens to me, my drawings end up being beyond awful, lol. And I really do mean that. So it looks like it's off topic! But it isn't. We try :) It's sorted though, and at least you now know for the future that skipping them is unfair and an "illegal" vote (if it did happen like that).

Should've stated that from the beggining. You have no idea how many suspicious i-got-banned-for-no-reasons we get over here.

This is purely an educated guess here as I was not present.

You say you got the word by writing "damn it" due to your annoyance at missing the previous word. This says to me that it happened at the very start of the following round. Your correct answer would then start the timer to end the round in a matter of seconds and thereby end the artist's drawing time preventing them from completing the draw they had only just begun. You then voted on them for not drawing the word even though it was your answer that stopped them. To me that's vote abuse for sure but as I said this is just guesswork.
