Just got introduced to this great new site called wetpaint... it's a wikisite, like wikipedia, but it's got a small forum feature attached to it as well, and it's not nearly so *cough* "academic" as wikipedia. It's more like a fun personal, wiki site. Anyway it's really fun, and I have a couple of sites up myself; one's a craigslist kind of thing where the students in my area can buy and sell 2nd hand stuff, and can also find out more about the place uni halls and stuff. The second one is an educational wiki where I'm getting my students to practice their written English. I would put the link up, but I don't want it to get spammed. It's still in the making so it's not crammed with features, and it's missing basic ones like the ability to edit a thread, but the whole idea of merging a wikisite and a forum seems like a great idea to me!
