I clicked on the 'log out' at the bottom of the main page, & it said "Are you sure you want to.." etc & I pressed yes, then it said "All cookies cleared!" and asked what I wanted to do - I pressed "Back to page I was previously viewing."

I was still logged in.
Clicked on 'log out' in the blue bar at the top, pressed yes again, and then pressed the other option, which is 'Main forum index' or something..& I'm still logged in.

It does appear logged out when it's giving me the two options - it just logs me back in again when I click on something.
I've tried deleting it off my favourites, logging out, closing the browser, then opening it again & typing in the URL, but I'm still logged in for some reason...

um.. when you log out, try to open it in a new window after you've logged out

that might work.. if not i have no idea

Just tried. Doesn't work.

I logged out & then from the page where I'm seemingly logged out, I logged back in & didn't tick 'remember me,' but it did anyway.

What's going on?!!

Tasha, the same thing has happened to me in the past, I would log out so, mitch-mitch could log on but it would still have me logged on, also I noticed the same thing is happenig to tuppence, her pc can be switch off yet it still shows her sometimes as being on forum.

re: cure, mr jewels did it for me, not 100 % sure but i think he had to clear cache, (but I could be wrong )

Okay, I went Tools> Internet Options> Delete stored passwords.



And it's still not logging me out.

Hm. Maybe it was the 'forms' one.. which is odd 'coz it was only a password, not a form.

I had that same problem when I used to log out too. But I don't log out anymore. I just stay connected. Like tupps, it used to say I was connected, even though I wasn't.. I remember it would still say I was connected even an hour later.

But it's no big deal to me, anyway. Just to the people who thought I was logged on that whole time :/ These days I keep remember my password option to stop me from timing out while playing in the arcade, lol.

It says 'Cookies Cleared' when you log out. Well... if it doesn't log you out, it means that it didn't live up to its promises. So you'll have to do it manually. (Please note that you'll then be logged out on ALL forums and websites where you were logged in!)

I don't know what causes it really; I've never had it myself!

Normally I don't.. I just wanted to at that particular time, and surely it should let me, regardless of how often I choose to do it!

ive just logged out succesfully after pressing the log out button once.. so its nothing to do with the forum itself
