I need a new job. I'm currently selling insulation and i'm sick off it. Only been doing it for a few months but for 4 years prior to that I was buying insulation! And its boring as hell.
What is an interesting job? What could I do? I don't have any real qualifications as such but have plenty of *yawn* office experience.
Any ideas?

do you have the time and inclination to learn something else?

do you want to carry on working in an office ?

look around at things that you enjoy doing or watching and try to imagine doing something like it.

I know its prob not much help, i was stuck in catering for a long while, you need to realise that if you have the time and bit of a drive you can do anything you want to xx

good luck

Thanks for that. the other thing is I can't drop too much pay as I have commitments now (mortgage, wife etc). I love music but how do you get a job in music? I'm not a performer or nothing just have a passion for music.

Become a lab technician! In reality you don't need to know much. Just this:

1- grams of chemical needed = (desired molarity x desired volume x molecular weight of the chemical) / 1000
2- if it has some kind of orangey hazard looking label thingie, it's probably bad for you so don't spill or mess around with it.

The rest is bull♥♥♥♥ paperwork, inventory and ordering, not much different from your standard *yawn* office job.

Get a job at a record store, or even better, open your own record store. Or make an online blog for music, eventually you could con people into buying "website merchandise".

Maybe you could get a job teaching people how to buy and sell insulation?

Maybe this? >>>http://www.policecouldyou.co.uk/

Or even check this site:>>>http://www.hotreport.net/weird-jobs/
