I'd rather win a one-off £60,000, because while I'm only 18, and I *expect* that I'll longer than/around 60 years (life expectancy for females is 80ish), you didn't mention if the £1,000 a year was increased to allow for inflation (so I'm assuming it isn't). In 60/70 years, £1,000 might not be worth as much anymore
